Byzzy,
I second TexasMade regarding College Station and Austin. Boston, particularly is a great city for student life (and is known as a big univerisity town with something like 50 universities in a 20 mile radius).
I've never been to Toronto or Montreal, but I'm very eager to check Montreal out and I would imagine it could have an added benefit if you take up study of french, being a bi-lingual city. I have several friends who have visited and a few who have done exchange programs there--so far all positive feedback.
