I failed again. I looked at Drudge for the latest news and ended up reading about an f'd up dating market in X city. The folks there, who craft the headlines and find the latest nuggets to feast on, are geniuses. I think if you like reading news and keeping tabs on current events there's no escape from outrage porn. There's no such thing as unbiased reporting or getting just the facts. Everything is packaged to evoke some kind of emotion. It makes sense that "Adult" and "News & Media" challenge each other in the top most visited website categories: SimilarWeb Website Ranking. I may have to quit cold turkey (it's going to be hard). Let's try for two weeks and see. I'm going on a no-news detox program.
