Within days of telling her patient the “life-altering” news that he had cancer, Dr. Theepa Sundaralingam was flirting, sexting and eventually having sex with him, in his home, her clinic and even his hospital bed.
That right there is a clear example of journalistic obsfucation in order to make the story more sensational. They have listed three actions - flirting, sexting and having sex, then three locations - home, her clinic and hospitable bed. Casually reading this leads you to believe she did all three things in all three locations, most shockingly that she had sex with him on his hospital bed. Perhaps I'm wrong, but is it really likely that they had sex in the hospital? I doubt it. Sexting and flirting, sure. But it's highly unlikely the sex occurred on a hospital bed in a ward with people coming and going... And the fact that a hospitalised cancer patient wouldn't be physically inclined for sex. The sex clearly occurred in his home, and maybe in her clinic. But that would sound quite as shocking would it?
Edit : Didn't read properly. They did bang in the hospital. Cancer game recognised.
