I've kinda stopped wearing cologne. I own several different types, but just got sick of wearing it because even if it smells nice, the smell becomes nauseating after awhile. These days I'd rather just smell clean than smell fragrant.

You just haven't found your scent. There are perfum families and you may have used the wrong one for your lifestyle.
Myself, for example, I am alergic to strong fragances and smells (cigars, fresh wall painting...) and I rather floral scents, which can be sexy because you have to come closer to feel it.
For man there are other scents, from woods (organic and strong ones it depends - B' women love this sourt of perfum family). If I live closer, I would help you in this.
