I'm a member. I'm also probably in their target socio-economic demographic. However, I have found the site to be lacking in several ways other that what I have mentioned.
Yes, there are plenty of 6s and even 5s on the site. What you have to understand is that it will be a 5 with a "profile" that reads like:

I currently work on the joint WHO/Carter Center project overseeing the Dracunculiasis eradication project in Sierra Leone. In my spare time, I am serve as the Chairman for The Melinda Project, a charity I founded while a student at Choate. The Project strives to provide a comprehensive and empowering extracurricular learning environment for at-risk female youth. I also enjoy wine tastings, ski trips, and international travel.
Fluent in English, French, and Italian.

These types of girls, if you want to meet them, are insufferable. They are looking for a very specific type of guy and it is pretty much a Zach Morris cardboard cut-out with a Harvard MBA or MD. And, the suggested "meetups" are repetitive and would only appeal to the Silicon Valley bobo type. Not for me.
Aside from that, there seem to be a lot of "fake it till you make it" girls on here. I was talking to girl on IC who worked for Yelp in the Bay Area. That's it. That's how she got in. She works for Yelp. And at an entry level. Those girls are almost more trouble. Buffy Lancaster-Smythe might have some student loans and whatnot, but her father will take care of those before you marry her. The catfishy girls are trolling for money guys - I have no doubt about this. And you will often notice that they are living way out of their own pay grade in NYC, LA, London, or San Fransisco. Good luck with that.
And back to my original point. I agree with the guys talking up SA in comparison to IC. The girls on SA are out for you money. But, they won't make you marry them to get what you want. IC girls are on lockdown patrol. For a bookish guy with no game who went to the right schools, this may work out. But for a guy with even a modicum of game, this probably isn't the place to be. The juice is not worth the squeeze on this one. This is a site for bobos seeking bobos.
