Are you assuming that they are eating three square meals a day? You would be right that there would be more shits if they were eating regularly. However we are talking about bums here, they are lucky to get a regular meal a day. Given the amount of drugs/alcohol that bums are on, I doubt that they are spending their "hard earned" pan-handling money on unimportant things like food until they are really starving, than it is to a Golden Corral(Long story in how I know it as it involves me working at Wal-Mart) or some other all you can eat establishment if they can find it. What is basically two shits per week seem about right to me.
