As far as medical records, the sharing of them between physicians is automated now. All those forms you’ve signed for hippa and consent to treat? The ones you never read? Guess what? Your whole treatment history is being uploaded to a central clearing house of some sort. I wat he’s this in action just last week when i took a minor in for treatment and wat he’d the doctor retrieve said minors records from 12 years ago instantly without consent. I asked and he explained that sharing of records is consented in the documents all doctors use now.
Bottom line? Your STD history is “in the cloud”, before too long it’ll be breached like everything else is. Not only STDs, how about morning after pill uses? Abortions? Man these next years are going to be rude wakeups for a lot of people.
