This is a long thread, and I haven't read through it, so if this is a dupe and all that, I apologise.
However;
I have had TWO straight up rilla dilla HIV scares. Second time, I had all the symptoms, it was ridiculous. The only thing I didn't have was a chest rash, and just as I was reassuring myself of that one morning whilst shaving, I glanced at my chest in the mirror and...)))
Thankfully I am all clear. But all that stress and facing the possibility and thinking through consequences....I just can't imagine why anyone would risk it, however low the odds might be. For a sensation???
IMO it makes zero sense. And I can tell you for sure I am scared straight)))
[It's a funny story actually, if anyone cares;
I had to get the test in Russia, which added to the stress. First they sent me the result by text, in Russian, and when I translated, it said 'This result is only available at the clinic'. That shit me up, as at home, I believe they send the all clear result by text, and invite you in person if the news is bad so they can council you and all (or as my brother speculated, maybe a sad face emoji)). Man! So I ran to the clinic, but I was too late and caught the nurses just as they were locking up. So I had to sweat it ALL NIGHT and go back in the morning, fully expecting the worst. Then the printer didn't work, then she shows me the result on the computer IN RUSSIAN, finally we google translate and it reads....NEGATIVE. Why the fuck couldn't they have sent that by text in the first place??)))]
