Not really. The sex ratio at birth is in the world average (1.01 males/females). It changes just for the population aged 60 years old +, with about 0.50 males/females - but this is a priori not your target group ......that said, there was actually a lack of eligible men in Russia, but this tends to disappear as more and more (as in Ukraine for that matter), the local guys/men take care of themselves, hit the gym, dress with style, ect ect, and more important, earn enough money to spoil their women (and russians are traditionally very generous with their money, especially when it comes to women).

Russian women are psychopathly jealous for the simple reason that russians are extreme and passionate people (it's the "russian soul" -русская душа- so well described by russian writers such as Gogol, Dostoievski, Tolstoi, ect). Very passionate. They can go from jovial to berserk in a heartbeat. As a side note, use the "L word" with caution with russian women, they take it very seriously.

Cool info. Where did you get the birth ratio data from? I am genuinely interested in exploring this subject. I say that there are more women than men from personal observation. These are some places where I go and notice more women than men: cafes, restaurants, supermarket, mall, bars, metro.

A quick google search can give you birth data on any country from multiple government sources. The fact is no country on earth produces more female babies than male. Nature favors slightly more baby boys because boys die earlier and take more risks.

Anytime someone mentions city or country "x" has more young women then men I am highly skeptical unless they can explain why, because all the data says otherwise. With the exception of college towns, nursing homes, fashion capitals or war ravaged regions, you wont find a lack of dudes anywhere. However there are places where you can find a lack of QUALITY dudes, due to low wages, homosexuality, alcoholism, genetics,etc

If you look at the countries with the highest male/female ratios most of them are in FSU..

Exactly, and this can be explained by the hardships and male deaths from the soviet times. So yeah, tons of surplus post wall women in FSU. But no country has a female surplus under 30.
