The nuclear option aside anywhere Russia goes the US anti-boogeyman force goes and with it perpetual strife, conflict and war. Look at Ukraine and that absolute fucking mess in Syria. Just now Turkey is attacking the Kurds there and some foreign power is attacking Russian and Syrian forces.
Not good. The jaffas and ahmeds are mere pawns when the big boys slug it out. They can help to undermine a society and over time destroy its origins but its nowhere enar as destructive as US v Russia proxy wars.
