Back when I researched all the stuff it was clear that the globalists are decades ahead in tech. But you don't get much except strange reports and studies proving for example DNA decades before the official results are in. The same goes for other technology. So who knows what it was, but at this point and with an illuminated cloud that is just pure speculation.
One of the new techologies that governments are currently field testing is devices to project enormous (fake) images into the sky. Possibly loud sounds can be added as well to further fool people. These will be used for psychological warfare to confuse and scare people.
Example - floating cities projected onto the sky in China.
To further confuse matters, there will be strange stuff in the sky in the future that is actually "real"....but NOT made by humans, and NOT made by aliens (which do not exist). So figuring out what is real, and what is fake, will get even more difficult.
If in doubt, trust your instincts (and/or gut feeling) and nobody else.
