Bodybuliders play the game of biochemical manipulation with variety of drugs and supplements to increase gains. The same is done in medicine, but it used to treated or prevent a problem. Favorite supplement, anabolic steriods for example gives you gains, but at the prices of your internal organs becoming bigger and leading to organ failure.
