The entire structure underlying almost all of our cultural institutions has been rotten for decades. There's no easy way back. You almost have to burn everything down completely at this point and start over. The universities are ground zero for the cultural rot and should be priority target number one.
The Humanities in their current form are an absolute joke. A pretty redundant statement, but many of my History courses boiled down to a professor ranting about capitalism, racism, or Trump. A course on the history of western civilization basically consisted of my professor bitching about modern political trends and crying about white supremacy. It's pathetic that massive periods in history get reduced to their propaganda value for SJW's.
It's an even bigger scam that these degrees are being priced at $100,000 as tickets into the job market. For those lucky enough to get a job out of college (such as myself, thank God), our degrees basically consisted of receiving Tumblr feminist/SJW rants for four years in order to be eligible to work. I'm going to start a job in corporate sales in two weeks.
I studied history because I found it interesting. What the fuck did I need to hear my professor's rants against Trump for? How did another professor bitching about the "colonization of women" at all contribute to my career or personal development?
Each of these courses cost a couple hundred dollars at least. Entire degrees that enroll millions of people nationwide are absolutely useless. The Humanities are a cancer in our society, at least the way they're currently taught. Everything semi-legitimate that I learned as a History major came from books that I could have borrowed from the library.
The modern American university is a corporation that lies to its customers, extorts them for overpriced books and materials, sponsors social degeneracy (rampant hooking up probably being the worst), and fails to provide them basic services (the medical services at my colleges were an absolute joke, ridiculous wait times and generally poor service).
