I work in Midland, Texas right now in the oilpatch, and there's tons of dudes out here who are partners in these smaller drilling companies, many are multi-millionaires worth between 2-10 million. They dress like shit and talk like hillbillies. You would never guess they're millionaires.
The boomer generation produced a lot of blue collar millionaire types who seem like borderline white trash but are millionaires.
So I think a suit isn't about your money as much as your job and identity. If you work in finance or something similar then yes.
