#2 is how I roll. I only buy them things that they can't sell for cash. Drinks, lunch, concert tickets. I've been guilty of buying flowers. I only do it if I'm really diggin on a girl and she did a good job of fucking my brains out. Girlfriend material girls. Very rare for me so cut me some slack on the flowers fellas.

Jewelry will get you laid in the short term for sure but it is meaningless to women. They'll sell it in a heartbeat if they need the cash. It's part of their purging ritual after a break-up.
