This works. Sometimes if I'm trying to maintain longer I'll close my eyes and imagine I'm fucking whoopi goldberg. Another trick is to look at something stupid in the room and just think really hard about it..like the light fixture. The key is to disassociate from yourself and take your brain on a little vacation so you can't focus on what your dick is doing.
That said, 10-15 minutes is good. My average is 45 minutes and I think that's just too long for most chicks.
