Kansas - what to visit?

I was in Lawrence a few years ago and kicked it with some buddies on Mass Street. Lots of pub crawls and semi-congenial locals are there that you can kick it with. Nightlife is average. You might wanna hit the internet for names. Great college town and KU is massive.

Manhattan is where KSU is -- not much to see here, unless you like touring campuses and learning about insects/grasslands. I didn't spend much time here.

While you are there, please check out Oklahoma Joes, in Kansas City , world famous BBQ spot. Ended up catching a Royals game that summer too. Kansas natives are really a mixed bag, but there is kind of a provincial vibe in the state. People have a strong connection to their home, so if you wanna tap into those roots, it helps to be genuine about family and hearth and all that jazz. Talent is really great for the Midwest, lot of skinny blondes around. I didn't pull so take that for a grain of salt.

If you are just passing through, being an out-of-towner will really help your odds, especially if you are extroverted with game. Can't stress that enough.

I couldn't wait to leave to be honest. I can't stand to be around Midwesterners. Hope that helps.

Maine and Canadian lobsters are the same animal. Prove me wrong.
