Total Gym

So it seems nobody is in favor of Total Gym. I'm thinking of buying a "home gym" and this is one of the options. For various reasons I don't feel like going to the gym (I guess they all boil down to being lazy). I've done so a couple of times in the past and in those times the gym was very close to where I lived or where I worked.
I bought a spin bike for $260 several months ago and it was well worth it. It took me a while to start to use it regularly but now I find it very useful. (For comparison a 3 month membership at a nearby 24 hour gym costs $200). Have a 40lb dumbbell as well but don't use it as much I should (I guess because I don't have a good program in mind).

Not just that, machines make things simple and routine compared to free weights. There is this Total Gym, there is a similar but cheaper Weider Ultimate, Bowflex PR1000 Home Gym and then Marcy 150 lbs. Stack Gym. I'll go to Dick's and maybe I can try them out. My goal is not to build big muscles but to increase my testosterone level and get a toned and flexible body.

A better question to ask is "What EXACTLY do I want out of life and what EXACTLY am I doing to get EXACTLY that? If you can answer that question truthfully you will be the most Alpha motherfucker you will ever need to be. (PapayaTapper)
