Opensource has been targeted for subversion and largely-pozzed by SJW's over the last year. If you read Discourse's Terms and Conditions and About Us pages and what they think makes for acceptable conversation - illustrated with no less than a picture of Wil Wheaton - you can see they aren't to be remotely-trusted.

Their T&C is meaningless as it's self-hosted so they're unable to do anything about it.

You can host whatever you want on your own Discourse forum.
