I don't think the competition is that bad but a lot of gringos give ''us'' a really bad image (drugs/prostitution combo) and that certainly doesn't help the nice girls to have a good image towards us. This is my thought. Also, although you can't have prejudices just based in one experience, you know I've had pretty bad luck here. And yeah, we know what reputation the Paisa girls have.
And well, Tinder here might be the worst in all Latin America big cities, I think it shows something.

Actually, I must admit that I am more and more looking into Rio for 3 months starting in the end of July. The Real is so bad that I think I can afford it. Obviously, I believe that what I am looking in my thread is going to be quite difficult in Rio but well.. I like the idea of the Olympic Games there and if you share a flat with some locals, it can be not as expensive as one would thinkg, especially if not staying only for the O.G.
In your world, Colombian nice and educated women are much less willing for a serious relation than the Brazilian women? I am a bit surprised though I am certainly learning more and more.
