San Jose feels like someone took a city, diluted it in water and spread it over a large area. It's weird how bland it is, even though it has more money than most people. The larger frequency of electric cars seems to be all that points to the higher amounts of money. The peninsula feels similar too. I've lived in cities of less than half a million and it felt more dense.
