Facebook/Myspace/Online dating was definitely a huge catalyst. Texting too, I'd say

Yes. The deadly cocktail of social networking, cheap cell phone plans that allow constant contact, digital cameras, and a series of dumb-ass bitches who are famous for nothing (Kim Kardashian) has allowed idiot girls to live out an elaborate, extended fantasy where they're proto-celebrities themselves.

The fact that they're out having a "good time" every weekend, taking tons of pictures, and uploading them to Facebook--all while dudes are giving them mad attention along the way--goes straight to their head. The feel more important than they would have in times past.

Among most of the girls I've known, upper middle class white girls, there really aren't that many dudes commenting on the girls' pictures. Doesn't really matter, because they still feel like they're hot shit from posting hundreds of photos online of themselves, and then poring over them for hours afterwards.

I'm young so I wasn't gaming in the 80s or 90s, but I bet the trend was still there. Cellphones, social network and celebrity gossip just amped up the pace. The changes to woman's psyche from promiscuity and feminism are still accumulating.

I'm curious as to why celebrities became so popular as it were, in the last two decades. Going to explore that and see what I find.

DateMeDC Loses Out Again

Wow, I feel sorry for her. Guys need to approach with game. But girls need to make themselves approachable. Here is what happened with a guy she really liked.

So the writer texted me either Saturday ... and asked if I had plans for Sunday brunch. "Yes, and I have plans Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, too," I wrote back. "If you want to hang out, the earliest we can do so is Thursday."

"Popular girl! I'm sure we'll see each other soon," he wrote.

My stomach churned a little [and the hampster spun in my brain].

So Thursday came, and I hadn't heard from him, so I decided to send him a text, asking if he'd fallen off the face of the planet. He texted back and pointed out that I hadn't texted him, either.

"Because I'm the girl!!!" I texted back.

"Yeah, well this boy doesn't like double standards. Hadn't you noticed?"

Whoa. I was kind of taken aback by that. ... But I'm still kind of at a loss for why things went the way they went.

God, I hate these kinds of chicks:
1. Schedule always busy, free once every 2 weeks --> she feels important. She feels so lonely and empty that she stuffs her calendar with trivia. Puts men last among her priorities, then shrieks about how no men will seriously date her. God, what a dumbfuck.
2. Blows you off, but expects you to re-engage.
3. Tweets regularly (rare, but bad nonetheless)

I think you linked the wrong page.

I could've sworn this girl ended her search after finding The One. Turns out she did, and um, it didn't last. She basically admits she is extremely superficial, that her only reason for dating a guy was because... he was 6'6".

She also has an unintentionally funny post about how she "should only have to say 'no' once." Hahahaha...
