After reading through his blog, posts and tweets, the whole G Manifesto persona seems to be based on some TV/movie or character. Of course, Michael Porfirio Mason could be a real person who lives the life he proclaims, but I can't help but sometimes feel that some of the details he has shared about his life & lifestyle are based on that of a character. All the custom suits, smoking cigarettes, boxing, surfing, going to the racetrack, being a gentlemanly casanova, taste in music, the shady past, drugs, childhood, hustling and pushing ecstasy, going to topless beaches, and the 90s slang together have some kind of cinematic effect that makes you think he is based on (a) certain character(s). For example, his Irish father and Spanish mother kind of remind me of Henry Hill from Goodfellas, and of course so does everything else about his life. Maybe even a Corleone or Patrick Bateman from American Psycho. Any characters, or even people beyond the realm of fiction that you guys think Michael Mason may be based on (supposing that he is not real)? Tell me what you guys think.
G Manifesto based on a character?
