Fair enough mate. Examples can be cherry-picked all day long by both of us to support an argument.
I simply make the point that, if there is a general level of desperation to get out of the poverty trap and that is the driver above all else, then it must be acknowledged.
Any discussion thereafter about marriage harmony and divorce rates and whatever else must be rendered secondary.
I would not like to know that I have flown in to a country that is desperately poor to the point that the pre-conceived notion that I have money to spend and can provide for any future wife well over and above a local Phillipino boy is the main reason I'm hooking up with a woman in a club. If it is, then I am not gaming. There is zero fun in that for me.
Yes, I know, white women are labelled gold diggers and women marry for money and status all the time in the white world, but this is different. This is all about me travelling to a place where what I earn in a year, say US$85,000 is what a poor farmer's girl will not earn in a life time. If that disparity is forefront in their minds and they can't really look past it, I don't want to see that girl in a club. It's too easy.
I have listened to hours of story-telling on Thailand. I know the Thai women have the worst reputation in SEA. There is a serious amount of semi-prostituting going on there, whereby a normal chick will hit a club and ask a white guy for money after sex just because she can. Indeed, they are actively encouraged to do it because a pussy is seen as a sales tool to generate income. Even middle-class chicks do it. You don't really know who's on the game and who isn't, unless you go to specific clubs where the so-called HISO hang out.
In the 1980s, the Thailand story broke and the news that you could get an honest, lean, hard working farm girl who will never leave you and always cook yummy Pad Thai and clean and be faithful etc... spread around the world like wildfire. Men from far and wide flocked to Bangkok and fell in love. Then, after a while, people started questioning what was going on. Random questions and statements emerged, like : Is she a prostitute? What is her actual job at this bar because she seems to be getting paid next to nothing but always buys news handbags? I met a girl who works in a Pharmacy during the day but at night she is always clubbing where foreigners go. Why? It seems that she fell in love with me too easily. I only met her four days ago and she just sent me 12 texts! She seems like a lovely girl but she's always asking me for money, even after I'm gone. I've only known her for a week, but I have already gone in to country Isaan to meet her family and I had to pay for the meals of 22 people last night. She threw a bottle of beer at me because I looked at another chick. What is wrong with this girl? And the list goes on...
Only in the 90s did the message really start to hit home that Thai women from the impoverished parts of Thailand were largely scammers and only married white men because of their cash. It was soon revealed that these women cared for absolutely nothing but to be able to provide for their impoverished families. Indeed, it is the sole responsibility of the eldest daughter to do whatever it takes to go and earn cash for the family because there is no social security, nor pension available in any form, and the male siblings are allowed to roam free. It is well known that these women, who choose to become prostitutes and / or full time scammers, visit monks to help them ask Buddha to give them the emotional strength to accept 1000 cocks in the next few years. Prostitution, if done to provide for the family, is actually sanctioned by the chief monk in each province. Can you actually believe that? The monks say that if you do a good enough a job, you may come back as a male in your next life and not have to do this work any more. Once you are a male, you are on the path to nirvana. Not many westerners know that in Buddhism, a female cannot reach nirvana.
When you see Buddhism, or any religion for that matter, permeate a country like that, the country has absolutely no chance... And that is my problem with the Phillipines. Catholicism has poisoned the mindset of the people. And because we westerners are largely Christian and it is thought that our values are pre-set on Judeo-Christian teachings, we give the Phillipines a "hall pass." We don't look on Phillipina girls as we do theThai, because we say that they're Christian, so it's OK. I think a country that has deep, deep roots in Roman Catholicism forces these young girls to act as providers for the family because the religion teaches that family comes first. As such, they're out there starting to behave like their Thai counterparts. This, in 2015, manifests itself in to an easy lay in the hope that you'll eventually provide for them so they can pass some cash on to the parents. Any suggestion otherwise is foolish.
Anyone who brags about going to a country like this and bagging multiple women is in effect proving to me that they have very little game.
It sounds like you're a scam magnet. Maybe it's because you look gullible for some reason, maybe you need to evaluate that first.

I don't know but the use of the phrase "yummy pad thai" makes me think this is a female troll.
Plus the big ballerism is hilarious. s/He claims 9's in asia are rare but yet this person manages to snag all 9's in singapore in a prior post.
Right.
Also, forgot to mention the essay like emancipation proclamation length posts with meandering nonsense points.
