Yeah, because I grew up poor in a very rough area where parental supervision of most children was very lax, I fought off multiple attempts by pedos to get their leg over and was forever having to watch out for my older sister, who was the most naïve person alive.

For all this talk of 'witch hunts', pedos don't hide. They put themselves in highly-visible positions with unsupervised access to children, and are blatant about it, and the parents never seem to see it. They expect the abusers to be lurking in bushes, not right under their noses.

The most common tell, which was when I'd be put on alert that I was going to have to guard my junk was the parents all commenting on "How good [the pedo] is with children" or "The children just [love] the pedo." Meanwhile, they'd eventually get you alone, and you're just waiting for the bullshit to start, then they'd ask you if "You've masturbated yet." Meanwhile, you're eight, and wonder why the adults can't see what is so bloody obvious to you.
