My Regimen For Reversing Hairloss, and Increasing Vitality In Your 20s

Not the OP here, but I'm taking the standard 320 mg dose first thing in the morning (when test levels are highest, at least for me). After about 3 months on it, my gym-induced hair loss has stopped in its tracks. I say gym-induced because my hair loss accelerated dramatically when I switched to heavy full body workouts 3 days a week, and cardio/martial arts on the alternating days. I tried minoxidil, but I didn't like the initial shed and found the daily application process tedious. Perhaps more importantly, minoxidil didn't seem to make any difference on my hair loss, though it did make my hair grow faster (at least initially because of increased blood flow to the scalp, then hair growth returned to normal pace). Additionally, the minoxidil gave me deep forehead wrinkles, making me look 5-10 years older than I am.

All in all, saw palmetto is doing a much better job for me than minoxidil. I look at it like a low dosage of propecia without the side effects or needing a prescription.
