Currency:
1GBP = 13.4Moroccan Dirhams
$1 = 8.3Moroccan Dirhams

Getting there: Apart from flying there another popular way to enter Morocco is by one of the regular daily ferries that leave from Algeciras in Spain. These costs about 30Euros and take about an hour to reach Tangier in the North of Morocco.

Language: the main language is Arabic although the Arabic spoken in Morocco is different to the classical Arabic most countries speak. In school they teach French and so most people in Morocco are Bilingual. Spanish is spoken more in the north near to the crossing with Spain and sellers and some younger people also speak English.

Where to go
Chefchaouen:
firstly this is my favorite place in Morocco due to it being really unique unlike any other city I have seen before. It is a small charming city which was painted blue by all of the Jewish people who lived there in the 1930s. During the day you can wander around and take some crazy street photos and at night time you can walk around the markets and try some cheap local food.

[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSHYW77KLOfZpFWqrY84Bh...iN6zt08KJp]

Fes:
go here and get lost in the streets of the old medina. This place is a maze in itself but one that has something interesting to look at around every corner. Good for doing some shopping, visiting historical sites and spending time in a real Moroccan city. While here visit the Tanneries and also try the street food.

Rabat: The capital of Morocco, not my favorite place during my trip but perhaps if I went back to Morocco this would be the place I would want to stay for a while. It’s less touristy than Marrakech but still has a really nice Medina (old town). Visit the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah des Oudaias.

Casablanca: This is the financial city and is mainly just for business. I did not find that many things to do here apart from visit the Hassan II Mosque which was massive. Although perhaps this would be a good place to stay for a while if you wanted to meet a local girl as they were not many tourists here at all.

Marrakech:
One of my favorite places in Morocco and it’s no wonder so many people go here. You are going to get hassled left right and centre by everyone trying to sell you things and bum money off you but you will have a cool time here. Snake charmers, spice sellers, street performers, pimps and henna tattooists are among the many interesting sights you will see here. A really fascinating city that has a lot of amazing day tours as well on offer.

I took a day tour to Ouzoud waterfalls which I thought was fab, it cost me 200Dirhams so make sure you shop around and don’t pay any more unless your food is included. The tour takes you 2 hours away from the city to a really beautiful location where an amazing waterfall awaits, great food, great local people, a really nice day tour.

[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTSTVSYcvXlzXalER8sBgl...Gu8OhMsA8Q]

Agadir: this is the main touristy beach resort further down south where you will find all the rich Arabs from other countries coming to Morocco to spend their time on the beach and in the various cabaret places at night where they drink whisky and buy women. Seemed ok to me, nothing special unless you’re into surfing then it is actually a good place to go. Well known for its sex tourism.

Oualidia: I never went here but if I was to go back I would go defo check this place out. The beach looks amazing on the pictures and it’s a really good place to go and surf, body board or kite surf the beach has it all.

Food: Loved the food here, I ended up eating usually the same type of food every day but that was because I wasn’t bored of it. Start off with a glass of Moroccan tea which is mint leaves mixed with sugar and hot water, sweet but tastes really good then for mains go for either couscous which is considered as the national dish. This can be mixed with anything from meats, spices, vegetables. My favorite however was the tagine dishes. The tagine is the clay pot that is used to slow cook the stuff inside which could be anything from chicken cooked in lemon, ground beef and eggs to lamb and vegetables. All very yummy indeed.

[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTpfPhTUYgfUr23huXY3cQ...3ujXl1F9cw]

Drugs: Naughty nomad would love it here, I got offered hash everywhere I went. Not sure about the prices as it doesn’t work for me but I was told that the best stuff was in Chefchaouen as that is the region where it is grown. I’m sure if you wanted to you could go out to see the fields themselves. Just be a bit careful as although no one seems to care it is still illegal with hefty jail times.

Getting Around: I used the bus and the train. If you’re going to use the bus make sure it is one of the faster companies like CTM otherwise you could end up getting on an indirect bus like I did and a 4 hour journey took 9 hours which was an absolute bitch. After that I tried the trains and loved it, quite cheap for the distance your travelling and quite easy although they can be even more busier than the buses which can suck.

Where to stay: Obviously you can stay in posh hotels or another option is a Riad. These are the typical style of Moroccan buildings where the rooms are arranged around a center court that usually has some sort of water feature in it. Prices for these are quite reasonable and the locations are perfect with them usually being right inside the Medina. I mainly stayed in Hostels as I wanted to meet other people which I did. Most of my hostels cost about 60Dirhams for a bed in a shared room per night so not so bad.

It is totally illegal for Moroccan people to share a room with someone from the opposite sex so that’s means they can’t stay in hostels and any apartment you hire the owner is more than likely to ask you who is going to come round, this in itself is a massive cockblock and fucked me up during my stay in Marrakech.

Trip and Friend, Cool hostel in Marrakech

Danger and Annoyances: generally I felt quite safe walking around the cities of Morocco even at night. There are a few things to be aware of though. Firstly finding your accommodation here is a nightmare so kids will come up to you as you’re walking around the little streets and offer to take you there. I had a really scary moment on my first night when I thought one of these kids was taking me somewhere to rob me but he wasn’t. Basically I think this kid took me the long was to where I was going so that it looked harder to find therefore worthy of a tip so just pay the guys about 10Dirhams and use their help. With the snake charmers be a bit careful of putting the snakes on your back for a photo as although I would not be worried about their bites apparently they can give you salmonella which has made a few tourists really ill. And lastly yeah just be aware that any offer of anything like some guy on the street saying he’s going for some tea and asks if you want to join him just bear in mind at some point it’s going to lead to him trying to sell you something.

Nightlife: I spent 2 weeks in Morocco but for the first week I whizzed through the cities spending 1 night in each place apart from Marrakech where I ended up staying for one week. As for Marrakech I really fucked hated the nightlife. I mean I didn’t go to Morocco for night life but I was still aware that Marrakech was supposed to have amazing nightlife. Perhaps I went to all of the wrong places and it would be good if anyone who lives there can tell me if there was lots of places to go without hookers but to me it was just a massive overly prices p4p scene. I know the places mentioned below are very touristy hooker places but even when I asked Moroccan friends about the non touristy places they went they still seemed to be full of hookers.

Africa Chic – this was a little bar that served decently priced drinks, had live music which was cool but was wall to wall African and Moroccan hookers so we left after 1 drink. I would say 99% p4p here.

Pacha Nightclub - expensive as fuck, security try to get tourists to pay entrance fee during the week even though they shouldn’t, 1 beer cost 100Dirhams, full of stupid shows where everyone just sat around near their tables where their bottles were and not many people mixing with each other. I would say 60% p4p girls in here but there weren’t many girls in at all to be honest and it was Saturday night.

555 Nightclub – next to pacha, the atmosphere in here was a bit better and prices were slightly cheaper at 80Dirhams for a beer but again mainly p4p with I would guess about 85% of girls wanting money, probably more to be honest. The hookers were in all fairness some of the best looking hookers I have ever seen, I really love the Arabic look, I guess its just very different and almost taboo to me.

Theatro Nightclub – who knows what this place is like, we turned up with our Moroccan friend and they wanted 2000Dirhams for a bottle and the bottle could only be for 3 people and there was 5 of us meaning we would have to split 4000Dirhams between us so in a polite way Theatro get to fuck.

Cabarets - for a Muslin country you will be amazed how many hookers there are and the best way to find them is in the Cabarets. Every city seems to have loads of these. I was taken to one in Agadir by a female couchsurfer which turned out to be an interesting night. Basically the women on offer dance in the middle of the dance floor to traditional music and later in the night when the Moroccan, Saudi and other rich guys have had enough to drink they call the women over and buy them for the night or for their holiday.

Girls: In my limited opinion I personally thought the Moroccan women were super lovely. You know how in England or the states you might get chavy, bitchy, foul mouthed women well here they all seemed really nice in the way they spoke and the way they behaved. They seemed to be curious about meeting people from other countries and made for an interesting mix between modern and tradition. The hottest women I saw were in Marrakech (probably due to me spending more time here) and to be honest the hottest girls I saw were the hookers at night and the hottest ones I saw during the day I think were also hookers just spending their money on shopping. But there was obviously more hot women walking around the cities too and on the weekend there were perfect future wives walking around all over.

[Image: priyanka_chopra_sexy_back_buy_priyanka_c...online.jpg]

If you wanted to really aim for girls here then setting yourself up in Casablanca, Rabat or Marrakech for a few weeks would be a good idea and doing daygame, preferably in French.

I think getting one of the street kids who sells the roses to join you for the day and pay him to take over roses to girls walking past that you like would work well in Morocco, wouldn’t work in the UK at all as girls would think your too keen but the girls I spoke to in Marrakech all agreed it would be a nice idea.

Using couchsurfing to build up a friend network of guys would also help to quickly introduce you to Moroccan girls.

Lastly I’m not sure how possible it is to shore the p4p girls here but I think if you and your mates had a place to go afterwards and had a party planned then it would be possible to get them back if they had no customers for the night.

Daygame: Not sure about other cities but in Marrakech along the Avenue Mohammed V Street seemed like the best bit to do this. French would be a super help here and without it things are a lot more difficult.

All in All: If your into any of the following things, cultural change, learning French, study abroad, surfing, historical sites, shopping, amazing hotel and resorts then this could be the place for you. I had a nice time here wandering around the medina’s and hanging around with Moroccan people drinking tea and learning about their culture. I was however amazed at the amount of hookers I saw at all of the nightlife venues and hearing rumors that morocco is becoming the Thailand of North Africa makes me wonder what it’s going to be like in 10 years time.

I have a buddy who bodybuilds who lives out in Morocco and he all but told me even as a local, you just dont get anywhere with locals, it's very frowned upon and the families would make it hell on the girl if they found out and you could mess up a girls life pretty bad my making some promises just to get laid, not that anyone is doing that but who among us hasn't fudged a bit to get a girl to loosen up. He says the locals just bang pros when they need to get laid so I would believe your p4p findings are pretty accurate. Sounds like you summed it up great, I haven't been and would love to one day soon but go for the experience not the girls sounds like the consensus from those who've been...informative data sheet.

Yes I think it is super tough out in Morocco but I dont think it would be that tough to find a hot girlfriend if you stayed there for a few months just not the place to bang loads of girls. I ended up meeting 2 girls who seemed keen on me (although one had a boyfriend) so i decided to just try my luck and I booked an apartment thinking I would get them both round one at a time saying I was going to cook for them and seeing where it went but the landlady made it very clear not to bring anyone around. I knew you weren't allowed but I was assuming that she would live away from the apartment and trust my bad luck she lived 1 floor below, that night I ended up kissing one of the girls on the rooftop of my hostel.

Next night I asked my hostel owner if he could find me a place where I could take a moroccan girl and he helped me out by speaking to his friends. Got the girl to come back with me but you could tell she was worried about police even I was worried. Lots or oral sex but she wouldnt have full sex. Turned out even though we had been talking about sex for the past few dates that she never had full penetration and although she wasnt waiting for marriage she did want her first time to be a little bit special rather than in some shitty apartment with us too panicking everytime we heard people outside. Annoying as I literally had my dick 1" inside her but I did understand. So definitely possible or perhaps I was a bit lucky.

You didn't mention Essouira which is a hippy hash filled enclave on the beach. Known as a hippie/surfer mecca. Many stars of the 60's were known to vacation there. A Structure being engulfed by the ocean was said to inspire Hendrix's "Castles made of Sand." I was there in 1998 so, can't really tell you much about what to do and or where to go, other than don't leave your shoes unattended on the beach otherwise the local kids will steal them.

yeah mate your right i didnt mention it and I should have done. Essouira is another place I did not make it too but many of my friends went there either as a day trip or for a few nights from Marrakech, a great little sleepy fishing village to chill out in or to catch some waves on their surf boards, thats how they described it.

Next time I will check the place out

I would not recommend people to visit morroco. Nearly everybody ask you for money and i didnt feel safe. The average woman is ugly and they have no freedom. Marrakech has nice palaces and garden but i dont think i will come back there.

Sorry, I meant unrelated adult men and women if they were not married, they are not meant to share a room for sleeping, so apartment, hotel room etc. Its the law anyway but in Marrakech they are really trying to enforce it as they are strugglying to control prostitution.

Morocco is a great place to visit for the experience. There is no other place like it in the world. But please (if anybody considers going there) get your Moroccan flag in one of the many European countries they live in instead of Morocco. Doing so, you will risk getting in trouble with many people. Not just her family, the shop keeper around the corner, her brothers friend, even the police. Its not worth it. I had to deal with that crap the 5 months I spent there.

Really? I know there it is a lot of European influence on Morocco but I don't know if their "strict beliefs" would allow that.

I did the Rabat - Marrakech - Fez - Oualidia stint in '08. Back when I didn't know what the hell game was. It was just superdry with the local girls. The girls met in the hostels and riads travelled in groups. The occasional single lady tourist make good target because ladies traveling alone get harassed A LOT. Definitely made companion easy. Did not capture the local flag but got a Malaysian girl hook up (same as myself) instead -_-...

Food wise, yeah it was quite good eating with your hands 3 times a day. The sardines and crabs I had in Oualidia were caught from the sea, pulled to shore and grilled straight away with charcoals on the sand. One of the freshest seafood experience I had for sure.

I keep on hearing that Morrocco sucks for girls.

But the girls I know that live there say the nightlife is great.

Anyone crack into the top tier of the nightlife there?

I'm from morocco, and I can tell you that the game is a little bit different. Harder but the outcome is awsome [Image: biggrin.gif] I bang 1 new girl a week when i'm active and not busy at work, you just need to know the right circles, right places to visit, right words to say, and have the right process...
I'm talking about Casablanca, and it seems that Marrakech is easier, but i don't go there often, as Marrakech is the place where all moroccans go clubbing the week end (in theatro, pacha, silver, 555...).
Anyway now i'm a bit busy but as soon as I find time i post something that may help banging in here.
BTW if anyone is looking for a wingman in casablanca let me know [Image: wink.gif]

Yeah, break this down if you could.

High end scene.

For Rabat as well if you know it.

Can't believe I'm just seeing this thread. I've written many posts about Morocco. I was there in 2011 (Tangier, Fes, Casablanca, and Marrakesh). Marrakesh was my favorite out of the bunch.

This data sheet is very accurate. The baddest chicks you'll see in Marrakesh are p4p. You really can't distinguish some of them from Dominicanas or Brasileiras. These chicks are stacked.

For a non-p4p chick, you need to check out the university scene and chat up some locals. You'll find girls walking around on the campuses. The couchsurfing idea is actually good for meeting locals. They are often the more liberal, educated and open minded Moroccans and they all find each other. Tap into that network.

I met a cool chick in Marrakesh who I talk to on Skype every now and then. I met her just as I was leaving and she wants me to return. I might do that next time I'm in Spain just for a few days. Hotel policies are major cockblocks but the good news is that you have better selection now via airbnb. But Marrakesh isn't cheap so for that privacy you will be putting up some $$.

I didn't go to Rabat but it's the capital and it's where most of the good jobs are in Morocco. So if you wanted to find an open-minded educated chick who can speak English, that would be your best bet.

Again, no ONS culture anywhere in Maroc unless you're talking p4p. If you're only going for a few days, soak it up for the cultural benefit and keep your expectations level. With a social circle though it could be different.

Yep, I was in Morocco a few years back. Girls ARE open to being gamed, I have no doubt about this, but the police and hotel laws make it quite a challenge. Fun though, if you know what you are doing.

Most of the non p4p girls, honestly, would make amazing future wives.

Went to Marrakech in September for 5 days. First of all very accurate report indeed. I found Marrakech to be a bit strange and definitly different in many ways. Its cool to see but for me the local guys in the touristy areas are real dickheads always trying to get money from you and the laws and police make things very difficult.

I spent 2 days of the week in the desert which was cool and then 3 days hanging around in Marrakech. I managed to fuck two local girl actually which is considering everything pretty good if I say so myself hehe ;-). One I met through couchsurfing, on the second 'date' she was good to go. The other was a girl I just approached in a park, we could hardly communicate (I speak French but she didnt) but once again body language was sufficient. Second date also on this one for the magic to happen. Regarding the hotels, yes they are fucked up. I managed some action a bit through luck, I was staying at a hostel and one of the guys there became sort of a friend, he liked to drink alcohol but it was impossible (illegal?) for him to buy so on the last day I explained him my situation and he agreed for me to take the girls to the private room, knowing all the risks. In return I fetched him a bottle. The girls were lovely and really interested in me as a foreigner.

Regarding the clubs, well to me they were pretty horrible. Entree was always about 20 euro atleast and like the OP said only prostitutes in there. Now I must say they look absolutely incredible... some of the best girls ive seen there.

The ideal setup for Morocco would be, going with some friends, rent out a big appartement with a guard you can bribe. Daygaming is best for locals and during the night you can try out one of the super hot girls in the club if you wallet and morals allow it!

All in all, cool place to visit, hope to go back one day to see the other parts of the country.
