Davao City, Philippines logistics

Hi,

I'm going to take leave and go to the Philippines for a few weeks. After reading the Philippines threads here, I chose Davao. I've never been to the Philippines before, but I'm well-traveled.

Anyway, I don't know exactly where to stay in Davao that offers good logistics for bringing girls back to my place. I'm looking for someplace clean, comfy, good atmosphere, and won't hassle me about having visitors.

I welcome any suggestions...

Go to where the few of us members who have gone there have stayed; Jun and Dell Apartelle. It is safe, clean, has wifi, a/c and is relatively close to where you want to be...Abreeza and Gaisano Mall and the street where all the clubs are(it is mentioned in one of the davao data sheets.

VP, the Phils was one of my favourite countries and the one were I banged the most, but wont be going there for a few years because I want to spend the rest of my 30s in more difficult places with hotter women. The Phils will be one of my main spots in my 40s because you can still do well there with young girls until you are 50. I hope by then, Davao hasnt changed and turned into another Cebu.
But for my few remaining 30 something years Ill be headed to Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Paraguay, 2nd tier Brazil, the Dominican Republic, etc. I will need my looks and remaining relative youth in these countries, which is not the case so much for the Phils.
As to the posters choice of Davao it is an excellent one. No better major city in the Phils. Once you get bored of banging so many normal young chicks there(did not encounter a single pro) rent a car and head to Tagum(1.5 hours away) and General Santos City. Some fine talent in these cities and you will be even more exotic.

I'm in Manila now but in 2 weeks I'll be in Davao for 3 months. If you aren't already there I'll be able to help you with some of your questions by then

Us forum members who want to live in the Philipinnes later, should buy and invest in a hostel or apartelle in Davao. Maybe even buy Jun and Dell Apartelles. In SE Asia there is no decent sized city, that is not a capital, that is as good as Davao with the climate, women and beaches. The possibilities are endless there....though I hope it doesnt get ruined soon.

As far as the city it was ok but a far more conservative/muslim vibe.

I can't have sex with your personality, and I can't put my penis in your college degree, and I can't shove my fist in your childhood dreams, so why are you sharing all this information with me?

Thanks for the intel.

I hope to go in October / November. Have to get approval from my unit first.

I've been using pinalove.com and cherryblossoms.com to talk to girls in Davao. I have one girl who is very interested in meeting me. I feel like I'm leading her on though. I'm going to Davao to relax and bang, nothing serious.

hey soma i saw a burkas there first time i had seen that in the phil also the sex culture which is prevalent in cebu was pitiful in davao.

again im no expert just someone who traveled there for a week

Maybe 5 percent of the population is muslim, but I never met or went out with a muslim girl in Davao. My brother did once and he banged her.
As to the non sex culture you talk about, to me that is a good thing. That means you dont see pros or semipros all over the place and you see very few 50yr old foreign whoremongers. I was in Manila (sex culture similar to Cebu) and though I banged a ton, did not enjoy seeing all the poverty and the prostitutes.
Dont let the shy nature and conservative appearance of Davao girls(relative to Manila and Cebu) fool you. It just means you are dealing with more normal girls who have little experience with foreigners. By the time you get them to your pad on the 1st or 2nd date, all that conservativeness dissapears. And I dont know about you, but I prefer banging young women who are still tight and a bit inexperienced.
That is why I usally raw dogged in Davao but never in Manila.

When you first get there you can stay at the Sampaguita Hotel. It's pretty cheap, about 500 pesos or so for an airconditioned single w/cable TV. Downstairs there's a coffee shop where people hang out (lots of middle class filipinos) and you could even game the girls in the lobby.

The main sections of Davao aren't ridiculously huge; you'll find most of the stuff pretty quick. Most of the malls are on JP Laurel, just take the jeepneys on this road. The other big mall is the SM on the other side of town. There's a few nightlife districts, at Matina Town Square, beers were like 30 pesos.

I met some call center workers there who spoke excellent english and were very americanized.

Don't forget there are some nice areas right around Davao, including an island directly opposite and some decent beaches. Cagayan de Oro on the north side of Mindandao is a nice college town, Dumaguete is another decent college town.

Mechanico, Philippines has similar prices to Ecuador. So since I have been doing construction of rental apartments there for years......I figure you need 200,000 dollars to buy a 20 to 30 yr old big house in a decent area of Davao. Then about another 100,000 to remodel the house completely as a hostel with even a swimming pool. Look up Jun and Dell Apartelle on google....since they have a website.
They supposedly had a municipal ordinance that forbade buildings more than 8 or 9 stories high (The biggest building in Davao is the Marco Polo Hotel which has 9 floors). From what I saw there were many construction projects starting for buildings that were way bigger, so they must have changed the ordinance. So IMO in 5 to 10 years Davao will start to become like Cebu. Great for business, but not for tapping fresh young pussy which has never been with a foreigner.

Good thinking and intel on Davao CM. Gave me some good ideas and I will be scouting the area for sure when I get there. Agreed with you that Davao is a prime location for quality unspoilt non pros. I've been chatting to a few quality girls from there on Cherry Blossoms. CDO also happens to be full of hotties from I've seen from the girls who have contacted me from the CB dating site. Would 2k/month be a good baseline budget to play with in Davao to have a good time? That is staying in a good pad in a good location near the action/malls, going out, eating out and juggling multiple GFs?

VP if you stay at Jun and Dell which is decent but not swanky(costs around 400 dollars a month all included) $2000 should be more than enough to live well. At $3000 a month you can live like a prince.
Dont forget the 50 dollar membership at Marco Polo Hotel ( the best hotel in the city) gym, sauna and pool....it is a great deal. They have a nice and big swimming pool and view where you can always invite a girl to sit by the pool and have a drink while you swim. A lot of older 50 yr old American dudes would bring their Pinay girlfriends there. I never actually did that because most girls were just happy that I took them to Mcdonalds. It is not difficult to impress a Filipina if you are foreign and I never repeated with a girl there. But if you meet some upper class chick or a 9 it is a good option. Though, in Davao there isnt that much distinction between how the lower middle class girls look vs the upper class ones.

How easy is island hopping in the Phils? I plan on spending a month there next summer. Was thinking about 2 weeks in Cebu and then 2 weeks in Davao.

Cebu would be have more pro/semi pros but the plus is you can take some super ferry over to Ormoc City in a couple hours, which I have gathered to be a major university spot. Might be dead in the summer though.

But Ive heard a lot of good things about Davao too.

Is it feasible to be able to hop around much there? Hell Maybe even a week in Cebu, followed by a week in Davao, Followed by a week in Boracay, followed by another week in Cebu to fly out from. Or would my time be better spend in spot?

One spot is better my friend for a month stay. Or pick one city for 3 weeks and do the last week in Boracay or Palawan. Best option is to fly, not the ferries.

I stayed at Jun and Dell around Easter this year. I think I was in the apartment that CM had just vacated. Cr33pin was in the one above me.
The place is very suitable for the purpose.

A couple of tips ...

They have a daily rate and a monthly rate which is effectively half, but nothing in between. (1200/day or 18000/mth) I was there for 2 weeks and it cost me almost the same as for a month. If you want to stay less than 30 days, try negotiating with them by email before arrival.

I was there during the holy week leading up to Easter and it was a real impediment.
Shopping malls closed, girls having to stay home with family, etc

I dont recall having any problems with the wifi at all there, so you should be good to go. There is no lobby just an outside poch with a desk where you can tell them to call you a cab.

Pending my leave being approved, I will be in Davao from early November to early December.

I plan on renting a place through Jun and Dell. Unless anyone else has an alternate suggestion?

Chochemonger, is it worth spending 3 weeks in Davao and one in Boracay or Palawan rather than in Davao the whole time? I don't want to lose days traveling and dealing with logistics...

You should hit Boracay for one week to try and slay some foreign pussy (i.e japs, koreans, europeans). Any major Philippine city is unlike Eastern Europe or most cities in the world. With a bit of pipelining you should be banging the first day unless you have jet lag. 3 weeks is more than enough to do some real damage.

Thanks. I would like to see how Korean girls behave outside of Korea.

Do you have a suggestion for where to stay in Borocay? Also, are there multiple flights a day in and out of Borocay?
