That shits hilarious and instructive at the same time.

I felt like I had taken a shitload of acid while stumbling on a mystical game university with Roosh as Dean of the university lecturing from his decrepid eastern european flat.

I feel Roosh should do more of these instructional videos as his laconic monotone delivery and apeman appearance are sure to become iconic in record time - I have already emailed this video to 10+ friends who would never have read his blog before.

So heres to more Roosh videos!

This is good video however a lot depends on the bar layout presence of tables etc.Circular bars are O.K. in the essence that you can move around circular hitting here and there.If I remember well many bars in Norway were like that.Norwegian guys circulated like lions around.
In Poland the bar layout is ideal.
In Balkans it is very bad and I think in Greece it is the worst of all.The reason is that the bar establishment does not want pick up to take place in bars because they are afraid this will reduce bar reputation among female clientelle.So they make the space as hard as possible.(insane density,no choke points,tables everywhere,no space close to tables,isolated tables in corners where you cannot approach at all and bartenders always moving and checking for annoying guys).Also muscular guys close to girls everywhere ready to intervene and cockblock girls blocking every access to receptive girls.It is so difficult it is insane.

In first example two girls sitting in front of bar.In order that approaching from left can be effective the ugly girl on the right has to allow this to happen.If she decides to engage her girlfriend the latter will have to turn her body to the right towards her friend and you will be freezed out.This approach from the left works in Poland because the girlfriends do not cockblock.In other countries you have to check out the group dynamics in some cases when the connection between the girls is strong and they have a discussion which they likely want to continue it is better to come between them and talk to the left first and then engage the right one.This is better for English,German targets.
The whole point is to get your back at the bar with one girl on the left and one on the right.If you have your back facing the bar no guy can move you unless he pushes you out of your chair.

Let's say in first example you approach a girl from the left.What will another guy do?He will approach the ugly girl from the right and after a while he will tell her to introduce to him his girlfriend.She will comply her girlfriend will say sorry and turn her back to you and then his friend will come just behind the left girl(the beautiful) so that they form a circle with four edges leaving you out.So in this situation you have to be fast as hell.My system:I let this happen,I do not change position.When they run out of material I reengage the girl on left.She has made already the comparison between the inferior guy and me.If the guys are true players they will try to extract the girls to another venue if they see you staying in position and not leaving.In this case I talk to the girl on left and I ask for her phone number before she leaves(if the girls agree to leave).

Common cockblocks by western girls:You approach the girl from the left(the beautiful one) her friend becomes pissed that she does not talk to her but to you,she comes behind her and tells you:Excuse me for a second,then takes her girlfriend from hand and drives her away.Other method:She calls a guy she knows and tells him to talk to her girlfriend from the left from an angle.Other method:She tells her girlfriend let's go dancing and when returning she takes the position of her friend in the left so she can cockblock you.

You see a pair of girls and a guy stands in the premium side on the left waiting to talk to them.Let's say it is Eastern Europe.What to do?The seat is already taken.It is impossible to squeeze the guy out by getting between him and the girl in order to order a drink.(let's say he is muscular meathead,does not move).Then you have to approach from the right.You get in between the girls and waiting for the drink you talk to the girl to the left.It is likely the guy will become pissed that you annuled his advantageous position.Very likely he will send a friend of his to squeeze you on bar pushing from behind while he engages the girl on his right.So if you do not posess good body dimensions to stand the pushing you will likely be asphyxiated and eject when you get the drink.So you have to work out another angle.For example standing with right side on girl's back then turning your neck to talk to her.If she is interested she will turn her body to listen to you.By turning her body the guy on her left will see her back.
Usually it is impossible for a group of guys or girls to block every access to a girl.I had some extreme cases in Ukraine in clubs in Kiev when I tried to approach a girl from every angle in a very crowded club and her girlfriend just moved her body according to here I was in order to block to me the access.She was pretending to dance around her friend but in reality she just kept me away.
Anyway if you move fast and there is space the cockblock girls cannot block you the access in the beginning.

The standing in one spot at the bar in Croatia has worked well for me. Every few minutes some girl would appear. Often chatting her up led to being invited to their table.

Also, this PUA-style idea of "approach the cockblock" never worked well for me. It's as said in the video: They assume you hit on the obstacle girl.

However, in the example with the girls moving through the congestion point I'd say it's often annoying to approach unless there's a standstill. Usually people want to leave the congestion zone and are therefore not interested to stay and chat there.

I also think those videos are fantastic. Roosh is a hilarious teacher. I hope he doesn't stop writing, though.

How about cheerleader smiley?

Sitting in a spot in bar vs moving around the bar hitting targets.Both have advantages and disadvantages.There are some points in bar where most people go to get a drink.You notice girls waiting in the row.So you sit there and you hit on every girl coming to get a drink.Advantages:
1.It seems that the girl came to you and not you to the girl
2.Back on bar.Very important since noone can move you from seat.
3.You can wait till the girl plays for her drink since there is no competition.
4.Even if the other guys see you sitting at hook point they will suppose you got there because you want to get easily drinks and not because you want to hook up on girls(there maybe no girls when you first take position).

The great disadvantage of moving around hitting on girls:You may become visible.Contrary to that when you stay on point it seems natural because the girls who come next to order have not seen you hitting on other girls since they were not in line when this happened.
Advantages of circulating around the bar hitting on random targets;
1.Speed.You approach first.You do not wait for the girl to get a drink in order to approach
2.Abudance.You can virtually hit on every beautiful girl in bar not just the ones who will come to get a drink.
What commonly happens when you hit on random girls circulating around bar:
1.Some girls may have seen you hitting on other girls and be reluctant to talk(lower social value when they see a rejection for example or a series of rejections)
2.Some guys will see what you are doing and they will follow you hitting on the same girls as trailers(for example you see a girl you stand next to her to wait finishing her conversation so you can talk to her,another dude who has followed you having seen you opening sets decides to intervene and talk to girls first before they finish their conversation.Your approach is annuled before it even happens).

kamaki - though your bargame wisdom is excellent (though could be more succinct) this thread is about what RVFers feel about the video blog entries compared to the written blog entries.

Video blog entries could be live in field videos.It would be interesting to see a live video in a Zagreb club with badboy.

I think words do a better job of explaining most things, but lately I've been making some videos to mix it up.

Reading Kamaki's dissection of the video is both amusing and frightening at the same time. But hey, as long as people get something out of it, even if it's just entertainment.

As for in-field videos, I can't bear to watch them. I won't create something that I don't like personally.

Kamaki's analysis is a bit OCD!

Maybe he doesn't realise that the video is pitched at nightgame beginners hence not complicating the explanation.

My brother who has never heard of Roosh or game has watched it and was talkign about it at lunch, how entertaining it was and what he learnt, hes already linked it to some friends of his. More men for the manosphere!

I liked the video, I wouldn't mind if more videos came out like these.

I am a fan of your videos. Personally, I'd like to see more videos posted of spots that you travel to in your adventures. Like a video of a part of a city that is good for day game, a video of your favorite bar for pickup, a video of how shitty your apartment is, etc. These would be helpful to visualize a place - in addition to your guides.

^seconded. This video was really helpful and funny at the same time, the full-glass=more open mechanic is pure gold.

The use of little dolls in funny. These videos add a different form of entertainment/education to Roosh's arsenal.

I loved these 2 insights:

1) She is most open when her glass is full and she has competed the transaction. Its true that people don't want to move around too much when they first get that drink in their hand. They wanna relax and savor the first few sips, perfect time to open!

2) If the bar is crowded and you can't get right next to her, stand right behind her as she will turn and be face to face with you.

Insightful and surprisingly humorous. I think its funny because Roosh is so serious about this shit. I don't know if I should laugh or be amazed that a man is really breaking this stuff down with little dolls! Good entertainment!

That was completely hilarious and instructional. I liked the hiding spot part.

We should contact Pixar to make a full fledged feature instructional film. Love the video.

Ok, more serious now: one detail I would keep in mind: not to stand too close behind her, cause you will scare the cat away. But not too far neither, or she will slip outta your hands or sill simply not notice you. Thumb rule would be keep at least one arm lenght distance between both of you.

I'd love to see more of this. I've never exactly figured out the optimal way to position myself at bars, and often end up roving restlessly. Great job.

Yes, I think there is a market for these stick figure instructional videos.

Roosh can dominate this market. That video was insightful and hilarious!

I think Gio hits it right on the head - the fact Roosh approaches pickup like a science, combined with the monotone delivery makes it unintentionally hilarious to watch!

My highlights are the delivivery of the line about ther "cockblocker", you can almost hear the venom dripping from it... and the eagle figurine hiding like a rapist, ready to pounce on the unsuspecting angry birds at the bar. Hilarious!

Another funny part is when he is talking about "choke points" - He says "the cockblocker will walk in front and lead everyone because she is a cockblocker"!!!

"because she is a cockblocker" hahahaha!!!

I think it would be hilarious to see one of these about "Cockblocker Defense" or "Strategies to counter act cockblockers"

Also, it was cool when he talks about being "arms length" away. You never wanna chase a girl to approach her.

And, "3 taps" on the shoulder is money. I'm gonna use that more in the street!

Position yourself near the girls bathroom.

As much as this video is nightgame newb advice, I haven't seen much material in the puasphere dealing with bar positioning - I used three principles from this video tonight to good effect and the fact I enjoyed the video so much meant that in the moment, at the club after a few drinks, I remembered so more than had I read it. Goes to show pickup advice should be kept as simple and practical as possible.

I remember nights trying to remember Di Carlo's escalation ladder and all its permutations and thinking I should have brought my study notes with me...

Nice to see Roosh doing more videos - I would suggest editing out the getting up to switch the camera off part!
