I've been having a similar problem even though I've been on TRT for a year, I work our almost everyday, take zinc and vitamin D, do BLT, no porn, quitted coffee (on and off)... I believe it has to do with dopamine because if I take modafinil my libido comes back, just for a day. It may be because I don't yet sleep well. I believe a part of it is mental/habitual too. Libido is like athletic performance, if you don't take care of it for a while AND you'r getting old then it atrophies.

^Yea, a lot more to libido than t-levels.
State of mind is a huge part of it. I notice anger or anxiety just completely kills my desire.

This is why I'm against no fap. It just make my sex drive go dormant.
I find a good fap can keep me in an elevated state of arousal for a few days after.

^I'm taking a mao-B inhibitor for nootropic/longevity reasons. Definitely notice an increase sex drive from it. Had high natty t levels to begin with but sex drive was sporadic.

Libido is a strange thing.
I've noticed a particularly strong and peculiar correlation in my life. My interest and appreciation in music is strongly tied to my libido. I think this is because music appreciation is largely determined by your arousal for life in general. The more excited and engaged you are, the more interesting things are.
Libido is almost certainly mediated by dopaminergic processes, if not entirely. I've had my T levels checked and they were quite high, yet at any given time I have the libido of an 80 year old man. Even if i'm feeling vigorous and healthy, women and sex can be the last thing on my mind. Go figure.
There's more to it than dopaminergic processes. I've taken tons of dopmaine effectors (receptor count effectors, enzyme breakdown effectors, production effectors), and none of them had an effect on labido.
One plant that does improve my labido is muira puama.
You might consider labido to be a complex system in which many things can go wrong, and the particular method of improvement is specific to the particular problem in the system.
Having increased dopamine activity while also having a normally functioning labido would probably improve motivation towards labido stimulated activities, and, thus, in a sense, yes, labido would be mediated by dopaminergic processes, and if those processes were deficient, they might restrict activity toward labido, but I'd venture attraction from labido and drive to act are separated.
Welcome to the forum. Mind writing more on dopamine effectors you mentioned? I seem to have a serious problem with dopamine, for example for getting things done.

Exactly, +1 from me!
Libido is primarily in your head, you can get all the T on earth, if your head is fucked up you won't be able to get it up .
Anger is my fuel -that's what dating a crazy bitch who only respond to you getting angry to fuck program you to do-, the more I hate a bitch the better I fuck, I just need one stupid argument to give me wood hard boner and this bitch gonna hear me yelling at her "
So what do you have to say now, hu ?"
Marriage, work and kids killed it anyway despite all the T & Tren I shot for month...
Tell them too much, they wouldn't understand; tell them what they know, they would yawn.
They have to move up by responding to challenges, not too easy not too hard, until they paused at what they always think is the end of the road for all time instead of a momentary break in an endless upward spiral

As I said, I already have high natural t-levels (in the 800s/ngmol) and good habits in those areas.
Having high T is not a panacea for libido issues. Plenty of dudes running 200mg a week on TRT that can attest to that.

Losing libido - what is the cause?

In the last few years I've noticed I have had less sex drive then before. I put it down to 6 months plus of no fap a few years ago (I also think that no release entirely will slowly kill your libido), and getting older. Although I'm still only 29. Actually I kind of preferred it and didn't worry about it. This year I was pretty content with just having sex once or twice a week and focusing on other things the rest of time.
However, for over a month I have been a diet of 95% meat, milk and eggs and my libido has gone through the roof again. I wake up with morning wood every day and am distracted by thoughts of sex again like when I was a teenager and early twenties. I get aroused just by being near a girl again and have been regularly banging the shit out of my girlfriend daily. I'm pretty sure all my neighbours hate me.
I didn't change my diet for that reason, it has just been an unexpected benefit of it. It really started to kick in after about a week of going carnivore, the first week I was getting full quite quickly and so I didn't eat that much so I became lazy and tired. After that I started to adapt to being able to eat about a kilo of meat a day on average.
I cook everything in lard or butter, I don't eat oil of any kind. I think bacon and processed meats are bad for you too because of nitrates. I don't trust or even like ground beef, so I don't eat that or hamburgers or anything. I usually buy the cheapest possible cuts of beef and make soup out of them, I do still add in salt, pepper, seasoning, onions, garlic, chillis etc and some vegetables like potatoes or carrots. I also like eating steak and raw fish. I started cooking steak extremely rare and then realised I actually like it raw and eat that raw too. I occasionally eat beef liver, chicken and pork. I don't drink water mainly just raw eggs and milk. I still have the occasional coffee or tea, although have mostly quit that too. I tried quitting coffee at the same time but I still have it at work.
The only negative is that trying to eat foods I used to eat is fucking me up. I went to a sushi restaurant and ordered raw salmon sashimi that was great, the only thing was that I ordered a fizzy drink and it came with a shit load of cucumber which I ate all of. I ended up feeling extremely bloated and then had awful digestion problems that I don't need to go into detail in the next day.
I learnt afterwards that carbonated drinks dilute the acid in your stomach making your digestion worse, so you really shouldn't drink anything fizzy with a meal.
I ignored that advice and continued drinking beer after meals on this diet but it has just made me feel like shit so I've quit it, I don't really think I can drink as much beer as I used to. I've now barely been drinking at all. And I've seemed to have quit smoking as well. I still get cravings but I absolutely hate the taste of it, so I instantly regret having a cigarette, so I never have more than one. I haven't smoked at all in about a week now.
I used to require something to relax in the evening weed, cigarettes or beer but now I seem to be killing those habits as this diet makes me sleepy without those things. So that was another unexpected benefit. I guess lack of carbs/sugar and caffeine is also making me more tired too.
Anyway if this kind of high saturated fat diet and abstaining from drugs doesn't improve your sex drive, I don't know what will.

@RedPillUK: in the Tantra forums, it is widely accepted that meat increases libido. That's why meat is forbidden for sadhus (hindu monks) and other persons practicing bramacharya (voluntary celibacy for spiritual reasons).
Would everyone in this thread experiencing low libido please specify if you have morning wood or not. I'm very curious.

Losing libido - what is the cause?

I'm 25 and noticing a slight decrease in my libido which I'm attributing to years of watching porn (not necessarily fapping ut looking at women online and on Instagram). I want to keep my testosterone and libido at a pretty high level well into my 30's and hopefully even 40's and 50's. As bad as it sounds I miss the feelings I had as a teen where a nice ass just hypnotized me. So how can I change my life to keep testosterone from dropping significantly?
here's the list I have so far..
1. Have a paleo or keto diet with an emphasis on meats and eggs.
2. Take healthy fat supplementation primarily fish oils.
3. Get a good amount of zinc, magnesium, and Vitamin D3.
4. Stay stress-free. So meditate? (side note, any supplementations for stress?)
5. STOP WATCHING PORN and keep social media to a minimum.
6. Lift Heavy with an emphasis on glutes. (which I already do)
7. Get high-quality sleep. (side note, any supplementations or routines for better sleep)
8. Stay clear or keep tobacco and alcohol to a minimum.
9. Keep body fat low.
10. Drink a shit load of water.
Bonus* Cold showers or icing/cooling of the balls will keep them healthier.
Anything else? I've heard great things about selenium and ginseng.

It sounds like you're overthinking this.

Why? the healthiest fat is from fatty cuts of beef and other red meat.
Animal fat is not too different from human fat and not difficult for your body to convert. Eggs, butter, milk, lard and fat from fish and white meat is the next best thing.
Supplemental fish oil, meh, maybe third best but it's questionable whether it even works or not or what kind of processes are used to make it.
Plant fats are nowhere near as good, cholesterol is not available in plants.
Finally industrially produced 'vegetable' oil is pure poison and we've all been slowly killing ourselves cooking our food in it or eating out at places which do. By far the worst type of 'fat'.
3. Get a good amount of zinc, magnesium, and Vitamin D3.
All of this you can get a lot of from eating meat, especially liver.
4. Stay stress-free. So meditate? (side note, any supplementations for stress?)
High fat diet has already made me more calm then I was a couple months ago. It could also be other lifestyle changes too.
5. STOP WATCHING PORN and keep social media to a minimum.
6. Lift Heavy with an emphasis on glutes. (which I already do)
7. Get high-quality sleep. (side note, any supplementations or routines for better sleep)

Eating a lot of meat will keep your body fat low.
10. Drink a shit load of water.
Why? You're just giving your body more work and pissing out your electrolytes. Do you ever see animals with completely clear piss? In fact a lot of animals barely drink water at all. Drink when your thirsty.
Bonus* Cold showers or icing/cooling of the balls will keep them healthier.
Anything else? I've heard great things about selenium and ginseng.
Meh. I don't trust how supplements are made or if we can even absorb such things from plants very well anyway. Putting ice on your balls may result a 0.0001 % increase in testosterone but sounds silly to actually do that regularly.

Funny thing is alcohol is supposed to lower your sex drive (long-term; almost everybody has his libido up when he's drunk) but I experience that even hungover my libido is way more up than usual. Anybody else noticed the same thing?
