I defend your right to express your opinion: do you now? Because, I seem to remember you reporting on my "bad, right-wing" posts at the slightest occasion, am I wrong? [Image: confused.gif]

Plus, on this forum you consistently defend political regimes that brutally silence their opponents.

I mean, can you seriously tell us here, that your beloved Maduro (a real monster by all accounts) and Ortega, or even Sasha G, allow the opposition to voice their concerns? [Image: dodgy.gif]

No offense, but your reactions (like those of Traktor, you might remember him) are very typical for Leftists: when Leftists are not in power (and certainly they aren't in control, on this forum), they call for "tolerance" and "let's all opinions be heard". But once in power, they shut down and in general promptly massacre the Conservatives.

I wasn't the only one who complained about you. As far as I can recall, the reason I complained about you was because you were spamming a World Cup football post with WRT malarky along with Zel (Simeon).

Trump election and Bolsonaro election. I've never seen two elections so similar in my life. For me, it was like watching the same movie again. And experiencing the same feeling of joy again.
This video shows many """specialists""" saying "Bolsonaro will never be president". It is the Brazilian version of "Trump will never be president".

I am glad that Jair Bolsonaro won the election. He looks like someone that wants to kick ass and take names and make Brazil a respectable country. I think he can pull it off because he (and many others that support him) have the will to do so. I also think he will have more success in fixing Brazil to make it a better country than what others think since he reminds me of a no nonsense Fortune 500 CEO.

I interested in seeing what will happen to the Brazilian oil company Petrobras, it was rocked by a major corruption scandal and it's share price plummeted, I wonder if Bolsonaro will open up Brazilian offshore oil fields to foreign investment and ownership?

I don't know about the entire country, but the offshore discovery apparently requires a mile of very difficult drilling after you go down deep into the water. It breaks even at $80 so Brazil probably won't see much action on this thanks to US Shale having broken OPEC's back.

This is at least according to Peter Zeihan, who I highly recommend reading and watching. Given your now legendary-on-the-forum Canadian oil industry background, I would extra recommend him in your case

I can't even understand Brazilian Portuguese and this is hilarious.

One doesn't need to understand the language. Just turn off the volume and watch their body language and facial expressions. Holy shit...what a comical meltdown. They reminded me a lot like the Hillary Supporters on Election Night 2016 when Trump won. [Image: icon_lol.gif]

Sooner or later, the Lefties in Brazil will be making an appointment with a therapist for symptoms related to BDS (Bolsonaro Derangement Syndrome).

It wont be just the Lefties who will be seeking the services of a therapist, it will be the Brazilian people when they realize that they have been sold a corporatist, globalist pup. Wait until the Chicago Boys show up and give them a right dose of shock mass privitization, neo-liberal economic medicine.

Wall Street and the MSM is celebrating his win.

For the rest of the plebs, it will all end in tears.

Not even Trump, LePen, or Putin all together have or have had such a bad publicity in Portuguguese MSM as the Myth Jair Bolsonaro. Even after he had an expressive and smashing win in the first round of the elections (around 70%) on the votes of the Brazilian expats in Portugal, by far the biggest foreign community around here...

I rest my case on your statement.

The Brasileros have made substantial headway in capturing ownership of US agriculture businesses. Any business that can navigate Brasilero red tape can thrive anywhere open to foreign investment. I doubt foreign investors could compete with Brasileros who mostly kept their wealth abroad when it comes to Brasilero petroleum. Never mind that Venezueala wins the quantity game when it comes to crude against anyone. Venezuela of course suffers the need to mix a little bit of Texas with their heavy shit to transport it anywhere.

Like other Great Again Politicians, Bolsonaro is likely to keep up the nationalism and keep Brasilero oil Brasilero, but I can see him splitting, neutering, or taking over Petrobras.

I like the idea that Bolsonaro's example can keep Macri from a second term in Argentina for being too Pantsuit. I also really want Dom Pedro to abuse the family trees to find a common ancestor with Emperor Pedro II.

Something similar is happening with the Malvinas/Falklands oil as far i know. We also have some shale oil thing working in Vaca Muerta.

A slight tangent but.. "No, No we don't need a wall.. Control illegals by using ground sensors and laser beams and thermal imaging and, and.. and Lets have a bi-partisan group work on something Much Better - BUT not the wall! Anything but the wall ...when there are such better options!"

Go along with it and do you think they come up with this magical something better replacement?
Bullshit, they got to stop the wall: which was the whole point all along.

"Just.. we need to have a CONVERSATION.. we need to allow all opinions to be heard! We need to have a special counsel to investigate these very solid claims in the dossier! We need to have a broad inquiry as to whether this family man was indeed a serial gang rapist! and of course.. Let All Opinions Be Heard.." and thus - run interference on their enemies initiatives and in doing so weaken their momentum and buy more time.

The Left are beyond weasels.

Really curious to see what the forum thinks of that

The other day during the campaign I saw this guy stamping the Bolsonaro family with the ethno-nationalist label and it created a major confusion amongst the pro-Mito brazillian viewers

Better tell the truth sooner than later, there is no big racial platform in Brazil or even anything relating to JQ
Brazillian right is no Alt-Right

Bolsonaro's platform is pro Israel just as it is pro brazillians of all races and I personally think it's better this way
Even the deranged left here tries to rile people up along these lines and the result is pretty mediocre and localized so far

It is IMPOSSIBLE to have a racial identitarian platform in Brazil and win. For obvious reasons. Bolsonaro has some strong views on racial issues but he can't simply antagonize millions of people because of their colour! Eventually, Brazil will most likely balkanize, the South wants to split for the longest of times. Let's see if they'll ever be allowed to.

As for the Israel issue... This is not a secret, it's nothing new. And him being pro Israel is irrelevant for me as well. I don't give a rat's ass about Israel, I just don't want them to drag others to their wars. The problem, more than Israel, is rootless financial elite that happens to be ethnically Jewish and not much else.

Dont forget your history. The decades since WW2 are just a rare case of peace in many hundreds of years of war, conflict and bad diplomacy.

I thought the whole point of Israel is that every nearby Middle Eastern nation has an enemy to focus on instead of looking further afield?

Basically Israel absorbs all the hate and serves as a shield for the West.

How many terrorist attacks have Al Qaeda and ISIS perpetrated in Israel?

Zero.

How many in Europe, North America and Australia? Plenty.
