Williams has been run by a woman for a few years now. They’ve got one race victory in 10+ years.

And she only got to run it because it was Daddy's team

That one win was a bit of a fluke too as surely Hamilton would've likely cruised to victory had he not had his pole position taken off him for the fuel irregularity. Either way the team has been going backwards ever since...

You can also look into finding some live streams online, its generally uninterrupted coverage.
, but sometimes I just want to mute the commentators and not have to hear them talk with Hamilton's dick in their mouth.

Back when I lived in Australia it was the same thing with Webber and then Ricciardo.
Horrid.

Then again Sky Sports is pretty Hamilton-biased too.

I really hoped Paddy Lowe joining them would bring some benefits. But its sad seeing a once powerhouse/legendary team slug it out for the lower end of the points these days.

I didn't track the off-season, deliberately so. Turns out that time flies.
The most important thing in 2018 is for cars using the Renault engine to win some races. I watched last week's race and the level of competitiveness might be different this year. Haas, Renault and McLaren are better. Williams is horrible. The coverage is great at 25 frames per second and above.

I feel like the competitiveness of the mid-field has closed up this year, aside from RB, Ferrari and Mercedes leading the pack the next pack of cars seem pretty closely matched.

Williams definitely went backwards, seems like Force India did too.

Force India has almost no money, the past years they got their TV money early (which requires the other teams to consent) this year one of the other teams (I think Haas) objected.

Haas, McLaren and Renault seem to have made big steps.
Red Bull is a lot closer to Ferrari and Mercedes than it was a year ago, but the top speeds that were registered don't bode well for their results on any of the power circuits.

Keen to see where Riccardo ends up, I keep hearing Mercedes are willing to let go of Bottas and Riccardo and Hamilton at Mercedes next year would be an interesting combo.

It will be interesting to see if any information on Libertys plan post 2020 get leaked out after presenting to the teams today

According to sources in the paddock teams have been informed about the introduction of a budget cap of $150m, a more equal distribution of price money & cheaper engines (without MGU-H) for 2021

Ferrari will not retain Kimi for next season. I hope DR will make the switch but Ferrari. Gasly looks legit too though.

I’d like to see Alonso back at Ferrari. A lot of people dislike him, but I think he’s wasted talent at mclaren. Speaking of dislike. Does Europe have access to different info than the US where F1 is concerned? Because Brits especially seem to know of every character flaw of every non British driver and are quick to say which British driver is most suited for a particular seat.

Another thing. Is Hamilton always so whiny or does Sky just prefer to broadcast every word he says on the radio? Because it makes him come off as whiny.

To me Raikkonen does a competent job, but it also seems he’s mailing in the performance to collect a paycheck. I don’t think he much cares if he wins again.

DR is a decent driver who appears well liked. But I don’t think he’s championship material.

The funny thing with F1 is that everyone always speculated on who is the best, and yet all of the current best drivers have their contracts written in such a way as to prevent anyone from really knowing. You’ll never see any pairing of vettel, Hamilton, or Alonso. I’d like to see Hamilton paired with verstappen and Alonso alongside vettel.

Finally, I’d like to see an American driver in a Haas car.

Raikonnen seemed to care when his car crashed today. I don't think he likes the fact team is favouring Vettel at his expense.

Hamilton is the only British driver in F1, so the commentators would probably like to see more Brits driving.

Not a Alonso fan, but I have tremendous respect for him. He deserves a better car than that McLaren.

American drivers don't really do well in F1, maybe they aren't up to it.

The last American in f1 was Scott speed and he drove for Toro Rosso. Helmet marko is a cunt who didn’t give him much of a chance. Before that it was Michael Andretti with mclaren. He didn’t do himself any favors by staying based in the US, but mclaren was known to fuck with his car between qualifying and the race. I believe Mario Andretti was a championship winner and so was Phil hill.

I hadn’t realized Hamilton was the only Brit currently in f1.

Alonso is a bit of an idiot imo. He left Ferrari at his own doing because he had an argument. To see him finishing in the midfield is a shame as he is the second best driver behind Vettel in my opinion.

He left when Ferrari hired hatchet man Mario Mattiacci to clean house after a dismal opening to the 2014 season and the new formula. As soon as he cleaned house, they promptly replaced Mattiacci with the current guy and now Ferrari have been slowly regaining their form. They say it was an argument, but the truth is, we’ll never know.

With Joylon Palmer getting ditched by Renault, Hamilton the sole Brit flying the flag now.

Michael Andretti had Senna as his teammate who was already triple world champion so no doubt he would get favoured over a rookie.

Alexander Rossi, the American also made a few starts for Marussia in 2015 but he never really got a regular drive and went to focus on Indy instead.

Also what a victory for DR last weekend, Red Bull played the strategy cards absolutely perfectly, Verstappen totally went backwards on Sunday with his erratic driving, reminds me of his 2015 and 2016 days when he made so many mistakes.

Baku delivers another crazy race!
Really enjoy the random results at Azerbaijan. Bottas getting that last minute puncture was rather tough to swallow I'm sure. Hamilton getting the freebie win and taking lead of the championship makes up for his bad luck on the VSC in Australia and also missing out on the easy win last year at Baku when he had the headrest issue.

What a solid win for Lewis Hamilton last weekend, 14th -> 1st. and Vettel crashing it in the rain was also quite the twist.

Although now Ferrari have the fastest car I'm hoping the see-sawing title fight continues all until the end of the year.

If Vettel wasn't an idiot and if Ferrari had let Kimi do its thing Hamilton would have finished max 4th...
Vettel needs to understand that to win this title he has to be 100% focused.

For my very humble opinion Hamilton doesn't win this year.

Cheers

Vettel threw that race away, he doesn't have a mind of a champion.

Look at what happened last year in Baku and Singapore.

He is the number one driver for Ferrari, Kimi is the back-up and will be leaving at the end of the year. They pay Vettel big money so that hopefully he can bring the title home for Ferrari.

Leclerc will be in the Ferrari seat next year, he is the real deal.

I think F1 would like Ferrari to win this year, to stop the streak and get more people interested.

Mercedes screwed up again with their strategy with Hamilton, he got lucky due to the rain and safety car.

Less than a month, I will be at the Belgium GP.

I reckon Leclerc is gonna give vettel a real run for his money next year if he gets the Ferrari seat. Ferrari may however recognise this and not want to rock the boat

Rain is the great equaliser and demonstrator of driving talent.

Nobody can argue against Lewis' ability at times like that.

Rumour has it that Alonso is trying to get a Ferrari seat.

If Vettel doesn't win this year, they may give Alonso a one year deal.

Hamilton is the rain meister.
