I am looking to go in on some Filipina dymes and I would like to know a spot where I can go and put in some work.

I don't know how the Filipino community are with non asian guys chopping their women but I need to know all cultural influences so I go in accordingly.

For the record, I am a tall tanned male so I also know that may play a part in some communities.

P.S. I am going to Santa Clara for a business conference in March and I need to know where the spots are. Maybe I can swoop out and collect a West Side flag in the few days I am out there.

I'll open a thread on that once I have booked my flight and hotel room.

As for the guys attitudes towards non asians chopping their women: they have to be okay with it cuz that's the reality in the dot I'd say. More non filis with the hot ones at least.

In Scarborough black guy-filipina girl sightings are so the norm I don't think of them as being from different backgrounds

As for WHERE to go, I can look into that but generally hip hop spots are good. Old School House Parties always have some, like the kind thrown quite often @ Revival Bar on College St.

I haven't been to Toronto, but I can tell you how I meet Latin girls here in Metro New York area...

Basically I dive into the Latin-American immigrant communities... You might have to do some searching around asking people, taxi drivers are a good resource for information but you can also use one of my strategies....

I call it the super market move heh....
Try to find a Filipino supermarket. If there's a large concentration of Filipinos in an area, then there will be one, or even better two or three supermarkets catering to Filipinos with all types of imported Filipino stuff no one but Filipinos would eat. They'll probably have some cute Filipino girls working there. So right off the bat try to get a few numbers from the girls stocking the shelves and working as cashiers, and shopping there... an easy opener is to just ask them questions, wheres a good place to hang out, get a drink etc...

Once you find the supermarket you know you're in the heart of the community. This means you've struck gold. Next call up a taxi company that works in the area, and ask for a Filipino driver, a young guy that knows the area, ask him to take you around to some local shopping centers where he may know a lot of Filipino women work or shop. You can do the same thing at night, they probably know the spots where Filipinos hang.

I did a quick google wiki pedia search and got this:

Looks like you're in luck... Also keep in mind this is the GREATER Toronto area, so this probably means the suburbs and cities around Toronto... If you can get some good Intel on one of those suburbs, might be good to check it out. Also google for Filipino nights in Toronto, with so many Filipinos, they're bound to have some.

When I was in The Philippines the men don't seem to mind us bagging their hotties. I was always treated well and very friendly, even invited to drinks. The only thing like a complaint I heard was a beach vendor grumbling angrily after I waved him off with the phrase "walang para" (no money). The girl I was with started laughing and I asked her what he said. She said he was loudly complaining how Filipinas are lucky that they can be dated by rich foreigners, while Filipinos have no Kano women after them. To which I thought, dude, count your blessings as most Kano women are more TROUBLE than they're WORTH.

I would agree with Hamilton and areas SURROUNDING Toronto...not exactly in Toronto. There are plenty of Filipino chicks in Scarborough, but you may need adjust your game that might be too "beneath" you. I would hit U-Toronto or York University if you are going to be in the Toronto limits (technically York-U is north of T-Dot).

You are going to have a hard time hooking up with Canadian born Flips if you are only visiting. On the other hand, there are lot of them that are off the boat and come over to work as nannies and nurses for rich old Jewish folk. You will find this group hanging out together at Promenade Mall, which is right at Bathurst and Centre. Most of them are pretty rough around the edges, but I see a cute one every once in a while.

I was going to suggest you see if there's a Jollibee(the Pinoy McDo) in Toronto, as it would guaranteed have Filipinas daily, but the Internet says no.

I've lived in the Phils for a longtime. I've met alot of Filipinos and Filipinas in Italy last week and they are so annoying I just couldn't stand being with them. It's like they change completely once they leave their country, in a ridicilous way. Like they work part time at McDonalds and act like they are in some way more important on earth than I am. For me it's Filipinos in Asia and not somewhere else.

I agree Tommy. There's a Filipina here that works part time at Walmart. She won't even speak to other Filipino's. When they talk shit about how great the Phils are I ask why they left.

You're black right? just walk around for awhile Flipina's are around... Their really not hard to meet at all. Someone said that you should post on craigslist that you're in search of a taglog teacher... I can't dispute that at all. Quickest laziest way to do it and almost fail proof, but as i said being a black guy shouldn't be hard... If you were looking for a boater Mainland Chinese girl then it'd prove a bit more troublesome.

Understand, this is sort of like Filipino Mormonism.

They want you to get together and make families. They probably have services strictly for the single members. The good thing is, they don't have all the celibacy issues because they're still Filipinos at heart. Go for the hit it and quit approach as these religious types will get hung up.

Tell them you heard about it from a friend that attends services regularly at the Waipahu Congregation (it's a big one they all know) in Hawaii.
