"Not all women can identify themselves with a 'traffic light woman' that is wearing a skirt and has a plait," he said.

I couldn't tell you whether I came across mainly male or female crossing lights on my travels, mainly because I wasn't fucking interested.

Being unfamiliar with German traffic lights, I thought the article was going to be about the shape of the metal light fixture being given a 'coke bottle' shape, to get male drivers to pay more attention.
