I thought every day was man´s day

I wake up every day glad to be a man, so I think that makes every day man's day for me.

I thought about this recently, and even had a conversation with a girl about it.

The one downside to being a man is a constant sex drive. Even on days you have sex you want to go at it again shortly after. This sucks.

But I'll take this over the following, any day:
- emotional instability
- periods and menstrual cycles
- constant varied degrees of anxiety
- living in comparison all the time

Despite these disadvantages, girls to an extent are given sexual value without having to work for it. A girl that is cute only has to avoid getting fat and groom appropriately and thats it for her to have a variety of sexual options. A man has to work on himself in many areas to get even some degree of variety of options. In a time line though, we win on this end because our value increases and lasts overtime.

Yesterday I got fired from my job for being an insolent asshole to the owners.

Came home, filed for unemployment. Went to the gym, it was leg day so I did squats, leg press, and leg extensions followed by some ab work.

Came home, ate the delicious chicken curry my gf made for me. Fucked around on rvf for a while, tried on my new ski clothes. Went out for a chicken burrito. Slept for 8 hours like a baby, by myself, in my tempur-pedic bed with my 2 cats.

Woke up to my own rhythm, checked some emails. Washed my car (as in, hand washed it myself, meticulously) while listening to some loud music while my neighbors are at their 9-5. Did a few rounds of jump rope, and here I am on rvf again while eating cereal (bob's red mill whole grain muesli with almond milk) and the Roomba is cleaning the floors right now, and I'm reading about how it's men's day??

If you don't wake up most days and do whatever the fuck you want, maybe it's time to re-evaluate your life and make some changes. We all have to pay bills and do mundane shit like buy stamps at the post office, but most of your time should be spent as you see fit. Men don't need a "day".
