The only reason Reddit is collapsing is because its users are sexist against Pau.

Undoubtedly Gamer Gate is behind this and should face civil rights charges.

She's super passive-aggressive, angry and vengeful in her heart, but she puts a pretty, fake-passive face on, so stupid men (especially powerful and rich men, for some reason) fall for it.

I think that's because these kind of bitches are super submissive to extreme power and wealth. Similar to most female political groupies.

What's Reddit? I mean seriously?
Never really cared about it, but kept it seeing being mentioned here and there.
Took a couple looks at it, didn't like the format, way too anarchic and leftist for my likings that I never bothered with it.

Was Reddit that big of a deal at any time? Am I missing something here?

Hahaha, is the Jesse Jackson shit real?

This is now big news on conservative Web sites. Wonder how the mainstream will cover it?

Breitbart is reporting it with the headline "Estimated 6 Million Readers Affected as Reddit Moderators Revolt Against Corrupt Management." But more significantly, on Facebook, it was posted with this teaser: "Here's what happens when you put leftist ideologues in charge of an--until now--massively successful website."

The story begins as follows:

"Since we reported on the latest Reddit Revolt yesterday, the situation on the web culture giant has only escalated. Over 1400 user-created communities (“subreddits”) have gone private, representing a combined subscriber base of over 124,000,000.

Accounting for the fact that Reddit users have multiple subscriptions, it is estimated that over 6 million unique users have been affected. It is the gravest crisis in the history of the site."

The rest of it is easier to read if you just click over to their site, because it has screenshots.

Yep! It was a Q&A type of thing that went bad!
A lot of that going around. Presidential candidate Bobby Jyndhal and the fat ass who wrote 50 shades of grey just recently went through that on Twitter.

Just read this link. Oh God. You cannot make this shit up.

Another ex-Reddit insider, /u/Dacvak, described how Ellen Pao reneged on a promise by former CEO Yishan Wong to let him return to his job after he had recovered from leukemia. Despite allegedly “pleading” with Pao to let him stay at the company, the cancer survivor was let go by the CEO herself.

Like I just said 2 posts ago...if you hire an angry woman/lesbo into a executive position in your company, it is like taking some kind of insidious slow-acting poison. She will destroy you and the entire company. Every. Single. Time.

Just to reiterate

Reddit, like anything, has a bunch of bullshit and is filled with whiney fuckstains - but, it is also a place for a lot of the sharpest minds on the internet to congregate. If you need to know something about almost any topic, chances are Reddit either has the answer or can direct you to somewhere that will. That being said...

Reddit, like anything that had the slightest modicum of integrity , will eventually become a cess pool of filth and misinformation. When, instead of letting people have their own opinions that they can discuss openly with fear of persecution, you enforce an agenda upon them, there will be revolt. Rest assured the issue of feminism and all of its poisonous offspring will reach critical mass and implode (most likely in around 30 years when an entire generation of lesbians, gays, spinsters, and fatties have bred themselves out of existence by their own choice)

So I kept hearing how Reddit is going to the way of the Digg. At one point Digg was valued at $160 million and then was eventually sold in 2013 for $500K.

It's rather amazing how fast the value of social media platforms degrade once people start leaving since every person leaving takes others with them.

The way things are going, this could be the end game of Reddit.

Pao to the wallet of all the investors.

Unfortunately, this will happen across all US companies eventually because this is the only way that they can eliminate pay discrepancies. Men negotiate more than women and we're better at it.

Does no one else think this has to be as ridiculously false as the gender wage gap?

In the other thread, someone said: "come back in a year to see reddit in flames."

We didn't even have to wait a year.

Reddit is based in San Fransicko.

Nuff said.

I don't use Reddit or really even know what it is... sometimes google searches take me there. But I just glanced over some of the links on this page and just seeing that bitches face it makes me think..... she should be shot. An frankly I take death very seriously, I hate spiders but I will try to catch them alive in my house and let them go outside cause who am I to decide if that 8 legged monster lives or dies? But that Ellen K Pao chick can get ran over by a SF Trolley tomorrow and I might celebrate with a glass of bubbly.

The Reddit thread - Sooth - 07-06-2015

I hated reddit ever since it started to appear on my friends monitors in the labs.

Once they opened it up I knew that was them done for the session and I would have to just complete the group work myself.
Their mind track was "I have done enough work, I deserve a break and I need a dopamine fix". Their motivation for the task at hand usually never returned.

Reddit users offered zero observable evidence of self discipline in their life.

As a man grows older everything about him is supposed to mature. Reddit has a way of pausing this process. I don't know how, but it was most obvious in their humor.

I've found that my sense of humor has a way of refining itself based on the quantity of comedic material I'm exposed to. At some younger age, one brand of comedy, eg The Big Bang Theory TV show, may be hilarious. But after time your sense of humor should advance to the point where all their jokes sound the same and the show seems moronic.

Somehow these guys would be laughing at the same style of jokes they were 3 years ago.

You can't have a fulfilling conversation with them because they don't know anything worth knowing, and have no desire to expand their knowledge of anything that matters.

"We screwed up,"Ellen Pao said today. "Not just on July 2 but also over the past several years."

here comes the damage control...

The Reddit thread - cibo - 07-06-2015

I've always found Reddit to be a shittier version of 4chan/8chan.
I never got into it since it rarely had anything I couldn't find elsewhere or done better.

Interesting stuff.
The mainstream of reddit is going off the narrative.

"We Screwed Up". Notice how the apology doesn't really contain an apology at all.

From the now SJW-owned Cracked.com, back when it was still tolerable:

6 Types of Apologies That Aren't Apologies at All

Quote:Quote:

#6. "I Deeply Regret"
#5. "Mistakes Were Made"
#4. Apologizing for Someone Else
#3. "Sorry" Used as Punctuation
#2. Pre-Emptive Apologies
#1. Apologizing for a Completely Different Thing

I would hardly say reddit has swung to the left.

Frankly, I find that argument insane.

He says swung to the right.
And by swung I mean: seeping into the main discourse.
Mostly with people being more openly anti-feminist and not automatically supportive of immigration.
In other words the most viscerally annoying aspect of leftism and the most important issue facing western countries.

there are actually people out there who honestly believe Reddit is not a lefty but a right-wing site now. How far from reality does one have to be to even form such a thought?
