Nas - Life is Good

Production is on point, from the boom bap out the gate with Large Pro, to the more soulfull ish with Mary J. Blige and Amy Winehouse, to the straight hype on tracks like "Nasty" and "The Don"

The videos below also have reflections on raising kids as a single dad, going through divorce, and life as an older player...

A musical trend that I'm pretty into right now is trap hip hop.

It's basically an off shoot of southern hip hop, with more intricate snare and hi hats, deep bass, strings, and brass. trap beats are very big and all over the place now. It's been called "the new dubstep" in that sense. I'll probably be sick of it soon, but right now I haven't gotten desensitized to it yet.
