Zinc has made me a better man. - roberto - 11-06-2015

Is is possible to get zinc in a powder form for mixing in your food? I'm like a cat, I'll choke the pills up before they get down half the time, but if you mix it up in a bit of tinned mackerel I won't notice...

Was thinking of knocking up a mix of powder supplements with the correct ratio so that I could just add a teaspoon to my morning scrambled eggs.

^I think that it would affect the eggs taste, and anyways doesn't food digestion slow down or lower zinc absorption?

You don't ever cook supplements. Your stomach is the only heat they are made to deal with and many will not be stable once hit with other types of heat prior.

If you don't like pills you buy capsule and crack them open and put the powder in a juice or hit them back off your tounge strait.

Yes, you could also buy bulk powders and measure out your dosages with a eyelet measure spoon or a micro scale, this does cut down on costs.

But you don't go adding the powder tl eggs or pasta sauce, not a wise thing to do as it will cause it to go bunk in you.

In the end, the powders, will likely taste like shit, but that's what you get for not liking to take pills. If the stuff tatsed like candy they would not make them into pills. Imagine taking Iron as a powder? Yuk.

Zinc fucks up my sleep patterns.

I ended up having really lucid dreams and sleep paralysis after taking some zinc during the day - 1x25mg after breakfast and 1x25mg after lunch.

Anyone experience this? What can i do? Should i take zinc only in the morning?

What brand of zinc are you taking? Also, what type? I notice improvements since I take zinc picolinate (it's absorbed better into the body). Try that and see. It's cheap under NOW foods.

Zinc has made me a better man. - Wrec - 12-16-2015

OK i found some Zinc piccolinate, this one
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Balanced-Zinc-Co...B00320C5S0

This i can buy online at Czech eshop.
Is it any good?
Zinc (picolinate) - 15mg
Copper (amino acid chelate) - 1mg
Vitamin A (acetate) 500iu - 150ug

There is not many zinc piccolinate products at our market. Amazon usually don't ship to CZ, and shipping price from ebay is riddiculous, so I am basically stuck in Czech market.
EDIT: I am not taking any medications, just some supplements - Fish oil (omega 3 and 6) and Vitamin A+D during winter time.

Zinc has made me a better man. - Moma - 12-16-2015

Wrec, I can't vouch for that brand but I do know that I like what zinc picolinate is doing. You can try it and see..

Zinc has made me a better man. - Designate - 12-17-2015

That brand looks legit, especially since it has Copper as well.

If you can't find Picolinate, try Zinc Citrate. Studies show that Zinc Citrate works just as fine and anecdotally I will vouch for it's effectiveness.

So, I started doing 150mg per day a month ago and didn't feel any difference. I take a 50mg pill before breakfast and 2 more 50mgs before dinner.

Zinc has made me a better man. - Filbert - 12-18-2015

It's funny with regard to zinc, I've read that the sperm is very rich in zinc, and if you want to preserve it, don't expend your sperm. I've read it in a document called 'value of continence'.

Here are some excerpts:

"The semen contains substances of high physiological value, especially in relation to the nutrition of the brain and nervous system. If resorption of semen through the wall of the female genital tract has a vitalizing effect on the female organism, the same should be the case in the body of the male in which it is formed and conserved. And conversely, loss of semen must deprive the organism of vitality and valuable substances necessary for the nutrition of nervous tissue, such as lecithin, which has been used therapeutically with great success for the cure of neurasthenia resulting from sexual excess."

"There is a remarkable similarity of chemical composition between the semen and the central nervous system, both being especially rich in lecithin, cholesterin and phosphorus compounds, which would indicate that seminal emissions withdraw from the body substances necessary for the nutrition of nervous tissues."

"Observations of the immediate effects of the sexual organism indicate that it temporarily exhausts the nervous system, and when repeated too frequently leads to chronic nerve-weakness (sexual neurasthenia).

Continence is beneficial to the brain (for conserved lecithin from retained semen is a true brain food.) Hence some of the greatest intellectual geniuses in ancient and modern times led continent lives. These include Pythagoras, Plato, Aristotle, Leonardo da Vinci, Spinoza, Newton, Kant, Beethoven, Herbert Spencer, etc."

While I find some of the claims in the piece quite startling, it does have some interesting ideas. Read the full piece here: http://www.hknet.org.nz/celibacy.html

Is Zinc something you have to keep on taking, or can/should you cycle it every so often?

Suppose that you are deficient. So you take Opti Zinc 30mg once a day for 3 months, until your supply is finished. Do you have to immediately resume its intake or can/should you take some time off?

You should be able to get your RDA from natural food sources. You really only supplement if you are depleting it at rates faster than normal such as regular ejaculation or going hard in the gym (resistance exercises). If it were ancient times, you wouldn't need supplementation as you would now due to a better quality of food. You would have been able to get it from oysters, vegetables and so on so forth.

So, are you planning to keep upping your daily zinc intake beyond all reason until you feel the effects of zinc toxicity?

As the quarterly RVF Zinc Public Service Announcement, below I am re-posting what I wrote a while back in the Cumming on girls' faces thread.

In summary: Yes, zinc does concentrate in jizz and you can boost the size of your loads by increasing zinc intake. A proper balance of zinc and copper is necessary in the body; too much of one will cause a deficiency in the other, with adverse effects*, which is why the zinc supplement you take should contain copper -- like the one I recommend below.

*A funny anecdote about zinc/copper: There was a time when copper toxicity was an occupational hazard of French porn actors. The zinc was being sucked and shot out of them daily, while copper was being introduced in high concentrations due to the widespread use of pure copper cookware in France. An unfortunate combination.

(Lastly, regarding Filbert's interesting comment -- yeah, I don't think I would recommend continence/abstinence as a route to brilliance. Those examples are noteworthy, but they don't really establish causation. You'll find as many cases on the other side of the lecher ledger: Einstein, Schrödinger, and Feynman were notorious pussy-hounds; Bach had 20 children; Ben Franklin was a lifelong whoremonger; and so on.)

One tablet a day -- 30 mg of zinc with the requisite amount of copper to keep them in balance.

If you know you are going to be seeing one of your jizz-targets that night and want to boost your load, you may very occasionally take three tablets in the morning -- always on a full stomach, of course. But do not make this a regular habit. Megadosing with zinc is very unwise.

I am not sure where you are based, but do you have access to good raw oysters? That does wonders for me. Of a night I will go out for huge plates of big fat oysters, with a romaine lettuce salad, and in the morning I am ready to seriously spray, if not completely cover, a face. (But I know oysters are often tricky in the States; this is another of the million benefits of living in Japan. Not to mention the chicks have smaller faces so it is easier to cover them, LOL.)

Try the zinc. You're welcome.

GNC.

Tokyo Joe - Does the 30mg/day Zinc/Copper pill you recommend help with energy level and increased testosterone?

Zinc has made me a better man. - Moma - 12-18-2015

To black spade and all other posters on the Inc thread, it's important to follow type and brand of those who vouch for certain supps to a T. All supplements are not made equal. Those industries are a hustle as much as any other but you can find some quality supps amongst the large mound of rubbish out there.

That being said, try the Source Naturals that Tokyo Joe recommended or go for 'NOW'. I was never a personal fan of GNC, to be frank.

Zinc has made me a better man. - ball dont lie - 03-16-2016

I have read through this before and as a result started taking a lot of zinc, with copper.

My skin is better, has a better look to it and I look younger. Im not getting sick ever. Feel better.

But I saw in another thread that zinc may cause dark circles under the eyes. Is that true? This winter Ive up my zinc a lot and noticed dark circles. Anyone this there is a relationship between the two?

Thanks for sharing. I just ordered this off amazon.

I tried this brand for a while. It didn't seem to make much of a difference to how I felt.

I pretty sure that powdered zinc would kill your taste buds. Not as in "oh, it has a horrible aftertaste" but as in "Food forever tastes like wet cardboard and I want to die"

Take a bite of a banana and swallow both.

Was using OptiZinc for months with good effects. Recently switched to Zinc Bisglycinate and it's a godsend. Most bio-available form of Zinc. The brand I use is called Blue Bonnet. Feeling better than ever.

Southpaw, you'd say it is better than than optizinc? Why? Based upon feeling better, morning wood, etc? I looked up blue bonnet zinc and it does have good reviews, but no copper. Do you take a copper supplement too?

Getting morning wood more often, sleep is way better than on Optizinc and my T levels are up since I started taking them. I don't take copper supplements although I considered taking 2mg because I get enough copper from my diet.

Zinc has made me a better man. - Kid Twist - 04-07-2016

I had a bulksupplements zinc powder (citrate) that I finally figured out was the culprit of a least a 30 min session of nausea and intestinal cramping. Brutal. I think I probably took a bit too much probably 75-125 mg along with a lot of other shit. I know it's the zinc now because when I took small doses of the same stuff my body reacts exactly the same way.

I feel like be careful of anything that is white in pills and/or powder. Shit is brutal. I had thrown up months before while taking several vitamins at once in the morning, something you shouldn't do either.
