V.M. Varga is one of the most interesting characters in TV series. Intelligence and cunning combined with an outward appearance made to fool everyone.

Will definitely watch Wizard of Lies. Silicon Valley has tken a bit of a nose dive in my opinion.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I enjoyed the show Banshee. Fun storyline, lots of fights and titties.
Cheap acting and ridiculous plots. One of the worst series I've watched along with "under the dome" and "bates motel". Waste of time.

I've noticed in Designated Survivor that the whole show is based on framing the Alt Right as a bunch of white right wing domestic terrorist.

I'm almost done with the first season and never even noticed that slant. That's how pervasive these elements are in entertainment.

^In season 2 you'll see. It's very blatant and clear.

The TV Series Thread - Once Was Not - 06-19-2017

In case anyone was unaware, F is for Family season 2 is out on Netflix now! Unfortunately only ten episodes so I'm going to ration them out to one a week. Better than 6 though!

First one was amazing, it is absolutely hilarious! Burr has done a fantastic job with this. I hope it runs for a long time and we start getting 12+ episode seasons. Everyone make sure to rate it five stars, I think that factors into things besides just views.

The TV Series Thread - atlant - 06-19-2017

I really have to strongly recommend Black Sails at this point. It just ended after 4 seasons and is one of the few series where the creators knew it was ending and were able to write a satisfying finale instead of running it into the ground over 8 seasons only to get cancelled abruptly. The first season is a bit middling/boring but it becomes fantastic in the second, which even retroactively improves the first one through certain plot points. Plenty of naval battles, sword fights, backstabbing and men doing manly things.

The production design is also phenomenal. It looks way better and more expensive than it has any right to be, which apparently is due to South African tax incentives. Without spoiling too much, it also is the only series I've ever seen with a homosexual relationship that feels genuine and believable instead of forced and preachy and that isn't these characters' sole defining identity.

The only downside are some annoying female characters but even they kind of come into their own in the end. One of my favourite series of all times, makes Game of Thrones look like a crappy high school play.

I'm halfway through the seven-episode Netflix series THE KEEPERS. It's reminiscent of Making A Murderer.

The Keepers is about the unsolved murder case of a nun in 1969 in Baltimore. She was 26yo and taught at a Catholic high school.

A lot of the evidence given so far is 'recovered memories' by 'Jane Doe', who was a student of the nun. Not exactly a reliable source.

Just keep watching. And keep in mind Father Pervert was hypnotising the bitches.

I saw the whole thing. Those fuckers are crazy. I won't ruin it.

Aloha!

I've finished The Keepers. Very well-made series (what we used to called a mini-series). Each episode had a theme and they developed the whole season arc very well.

No major SPOILERS here but here's my reaction:

1. The Catholic church and Catholic education, at least in those days, was a machine for producing parishioners who would never question authority.

2. The police and the FBI are a mixture of corruption, indifference and incompetence. We deserve better.

3. Feelingz (including 'recovered' memories) were everywhere in this series. If you feel something must be true, then it must be. Not much was backed up by factual evidence. The last witness, Charlie, was the most credible and tragic in my view.

The TV Series Thread - Chris Brown - 08-14-2017

The Americans season 5 was too slow. They could have consensed all 13 episodes into 5. But at least its one show with minimal political correctness.

Does anyone know how to find and watch Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome? It aired on SyFy, but it's not available on their streaming app. Netflix doesn't have it either. I checked the Machinima website, but couldn't find it, although I found the site difficult to navigate.

Try the most infamous torrent site. I can see they have it, although very few seeds since it's six years old.
Otherwise DVD I guess.

got netflix just so I could practice Spanish through television. Its one of the easiest platforms to switch between english and spanish subtitles.

Been watching Club de Cuervos and its a pretty good show.

I've been very interested in watching animes lately. Aside from watching Dragon ball super (which is like GoT for animes) I really like Psycho Pass which is basically a close representation of Orwell's 1984. The only difference is that it's happening in Japan. In short, the plot is fantastic and the characters are great. I give it a 9/10 because the second season was not as epic as the first one.

Today I just watched the first episode of Death Note and I'm already hooked.

not that I would ever visit such a site, but there are sites like tvmuse.eu that have most of the shows. Viruses run rampant, make sure to watch on your porn computer.

I watched first episode of new season of AHS. American Horror Story: Cult is centered around butthurt SJWs with phobias and 4Chan wackos. First 10 minutes are funny as they show reactions of characters to the day Trump won.
That being said, its still unknown where this series will progress to, as we got literally nothing except leading actress that has various phobias. No real events I mean.

Who besides me is loving Siesta Key on MTV?

If you haven't seen it, imagine The Hills or The OC (both amazing), but in Florida!

The main guy is Alex. His dad is some mega rich guy and they live in this oceanfront super mansion. Alex, sadly, drives a giant ford f250 but has a seaswirl 2301 and seems like a solid fisherman. He has all kinds of parties and bangs all of the girls in the cast. The girls are all hot except one, and you can tell they've lived their lives in bikinis, because they frolic about confidently.

Last week, Alex started making the moves on some girl who moved to siesta key to take care of her mom who has a disease. To me though, it looks like she just hangs around the pool at their house, which is under a big screen enclosure to keep the Florida bugs out. Her name is Kelsey, and she has a boyfriend but he's on the outs with her. In public he looks like this super alpha and is obviously a frequenter of a gym, but in private Kelsey just walks all over him.

Well, last week Alex had a party to support a foundation for his brother who is a retard. Kelsey's boyfriend just leaves, and Alex goes for it. They mingle a bit. The next day they go to the beach, but the boyfriend comes along. The girls run around in bikinis to songs like "feel the rain in your skin" and that's it.

The show also contains the token black guy who's is a mysterious new yorker, but sometimes lives in Florida. He winds up getting close to the towns hot dirty slut, who's name I forget, but then backs away once he found out Alex nailed her.

Its a great show, and I think you guys will live it.

That's Kelsey's boyfriend, Kelsey, the fat girl, Alex, Alex's old girlfriend, the black guy, and Alex's other old girlfriend.

Here's an action shot of the hot slut that wants to fuck the black guy:

[Image: amandabikini-1502125706.gif?quality=.8&h...&width=500]

Her name is Amanda. She's my favorite.

I'm on the fence about Alex. W magazazine was really hating on him: https://www.wmagazine.com/story/siesta-key-mtv And there's some snafu about him shooting a shark, which happens, but someone videoed him: http://nypost.com/2017/08/04/mtvs-siesta...ing-shark/

I don't know what is going to happen with the hurrican e hitting, but I hope they are all OK.

Aloha!

Did you guys know Below Deck started a new season?

This is the real one with my girl Kate Chastain running the stews:

[Image: Kate_Chastain_mug_shots_2016_arrest_.jpg]

Kate has had some problems in her personal life since we last saw her. She beat up a lesbian.

My main man Captain Lee is back too. He runs a tight ship, but still knows how to party. He looks a little weathered, but we'll see.

I'll update once I watch the episodes. Im already two behind.

Aloha!

Fear the walking dead is awful spoiler alert. Not sure why I'm watching it. In this season the main cougar leader with a five head joins a survivalist ranch. She proceeds to take over the ranch that was running fine, kills the leader who at the mid finale was shown to be a racist. The racism was the main reason why she had her son kill the guy, not offend the Natives who wanted the land back. She than invites the natives into the camp who promptly take all of the weapons and start hogging the water.

The show Zoo is silly but has fantastic pace, something is always happening, and it never makes sense why they do things.

The TV Series Thread - Conscious Pirate - 09-13-2017

Best new shows I'm watching that no-one is talking about...

Manhunt: UNABOMBER

Incredible show based on fascinating subject matter. Paul Bettany plays Ted K. Aussie Sam Worthington plays the lead FBI profiler, Fitzgerald. To see how they got him by analysing his manifesto cadence, word usage etc is fucking brilliant. This is top shelf drama viewing.

Mr. Mercedes

Brendan Gleeson plays a retired cop still haunted by the non-closure of a massive hit-&-run in which the murderer mowed down a group of people waiting in line for (jobs, handouts, etc whatever) in the early hours of the morning.

Then the killer (an Elliot Rodger type whose white trash mum has been abusing him for years) starts to fuck with ol' Gleeson (who has a pet galapagos tortoise) through emails & hacked website & hidden tennis balls & shit.

It's pretty awesome.
