This is kind of a random question, but I remember a while back roosh mentioning something about getting a million hits a month for the website. Why are there no ads? I feel like he'd make a lot of money so it's kind of strange.

Actually I started displaying a Bang ad underneath the first post for those who aren't signed in. I'll experiment with some options that don't distract the reading pleasure.

I'm all about supporting the Rooshv player community but I hope the forum's sustainable enough to run without the need for pizza or unrelated ads.

Ads are pushed into our faces constantly on the internet and this place is one of my online refuges.

I agree with this, though I think a good compromise might be to show non-members ads--since they're getting something for nothing. And, being that you can only join once a month now, it's part of putting in your dues. A lot of the random keyword traffic that comes from the Internet (rather than contributing members) should be generating something for the man behind the curtain.
