Some women apparently make money from match.com

"Her $45k salary was not enough and she needed at least an extra $500 a month and sometimes $1,000 to pay her credit card bills and afford her $1,475 a month apartment in Murray Hill....
The investment banker types were thrilled to woo her with extraordinary restaurants like the underground taqueria La Esquina and a Japanese restaurant, Megu, in Tribeca. One guy even took her to a champagne bar and purchased a $200 bottle.
McGonagall went from easily spending $500 a month on dinners alone to having someone else dole out an average of $60-plus per night. She also stopped eating lunch and opted for a light breakfast to save even more.
According to our calculations, McGonagall made over $1,200 a month."

I don't think anyone on this forum would be surprised things like this happen. But it gets me thinking, is this what women think of as empowerment? Feminists should be cheering that Game exists so men learn not to open their wallets for dates, just to get poonani. Oh wait, feminists don't give a F**K about men, ever.

Is that the teacher from Harry Potter? [Image: tard.gif]

I've had girls tell me they do this, its really no surprise and just more of a reason you pay for as little as possible until you actually fuck a girl.

Also, make them drive to you. Less money, local mastery, better logistics --> +% chance of bang.

Her real name is Jessica Sporty.

It's on Jezebel - http://jezebel.com/jessica-sporty/ - Don't bother commenting because their comment system is beyond ****ed, and anything critical of women is censored.

Can't believe guys anywhere in the US are still doing dinners on a first or second date.

The dinner date is INGRAINED in the culture bro. Yeah...guys that study game have wised up, but that will never change. Chicks will go out with dudes they KNOW they aren't into just for the free meal, because they don't have anything better to do that night. They actually disabled the comments on the article, because the posts were getting out of control!

This trick is so typical of many women in NYC. They want to live the life, but don't want to fund it. "Sex In The City" is a tv show, and people on tv shows always seem to have money to burn. And yeah...chumps on tv are always taking chicks out to dinner. Every night in fact. I learned a long time ago that no matter how good you seem to be clicking with chicks online, they have other dudes they're working simultaneously. Dudes need to wise up, and set up drink dates first.

And then what does she provide in exchange? Her "company." Yeah, that's what the man wants.

Yeah...they play the "person who asked/invited should pay" game, but on the flip side, women generally don't ask men out. Meaning they think men should pay. Another game they play is to offer to split, but if you accept the offer, they won't see you again. Hookers/escorts run the whole "I get paid for my time" bullshit too, but men aren't paying for TIME. They're paying for pussy. If a bitch said, "I don't want to fuck, but it would be nice if we just talked and got to know each other," she'd get cursed out and tossed out on her ass for trying to waste HIS time.

She is probably a bitch in real life, but her point is fair. That's how I'd feel if I had to split an expensive dinner with a complete stranger - maybe I'd tell the guy to do anything but dinner. The solution either way is just not to do dinner.

To be fair to the Jezebel commenters, a lot of them at least *said* they'd pay the bill.

When it comes to the bill, feminists aren't the biggest offenders, it's the cute girls who are used to having everything paid for. Especially girls who grow up in certain cultures where it's seen as 'macho' to pay for the girl - I had a desperate 29 year old Persian girl (very old to be unmarried, given her background) telling me once how if she didn't let the man pay, she'd be emasculating him and depriving him of his gift. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

This behavior is in no way new. I'm sure some of you have heard of the "Black Dahlia". She was this actress wannabe chick who got murdered and mutilated back in the 1940's.

Well back then, she used to do this thing called "dating for dinner", which was pretty common. Basically, it was the exact same thing that the chick in the post above is doing.

I honestly have no sympathy for American dudes who still fall for this shit. It's weaksauce and most women will generally admit that guys who start buying them things right away come across as weak or desperate. This phenomenon has been well documented, and any idiot with an internet connection can take a few minutes to educate himself as to why buying girls dinners, taking them to the movies, etc. is a bad idea (at least until after you've fucked a girl, if you're paying for pussy in that sense at least it becomes a better ROI).

I've noticed this too. Attractive females who come from families that have at least a little bit of money have pretty much zero responsibility or accountability until well into adulthood, so they take it for granted that someone will constantly be paying their way.

Those of us who are wise to this phenomenon should just turn the tables, get on these sites and try to get some bitches to pay your way.

She's cute, but I'd never buy her dinner.

These days the only women I buy dinner have bought mine or cooked for me first. Still, usually the women I've broken are too "empowered" in my presence to let me pay the whole bill.

I wish that were the case dude, but plenty of women still have no problem with men fronting the bill because they're cheap, lazy entitlement bitches.

The problem is that way too guys ONLY care that the female looks good and that's it. Most men don't care if a female doesn't have 2 quarters to rub together.

I DO!

....and I have had a few dinners paid by the chick and MANY more that she helped pay for.

I'm not surprised match.com chumps are buying this and other girls dinner. Match.com, for one, is one of the more beta dating sites, focused on creating "deep, lifelong connections." What's more, if these guys are stupid enough to pay $50/month for a dating site--when there are free and considerably less expensive options--why wouldn't they shell out additional money on finding their "soulmate"?

This bitch is a horrible leach and manipulator. The thing is, that's what she's programmed to do. Even the best of marriages, as we all know, is a form of extended extraction from a man who could get everything he wants elsewhere. She's just gaming the system. She's, in a way, the equivalent of a player: the dinner whore.

I hate her to death, but I can't blame her that much.

We need to find someone from here to smooze her into a 5 star dinner date Dom and all. Then take off and stick her with the bill. Where is she?

I'd do it. Don't know how many true 5-star restaurants there are here in DC though.

That would be glorious. It would take one of the custom-suited-down cats from the board to start an account in her area, an account that really transmits a provider vibe, and hit her up hard. I wouldn't be surprised if she's taken her profile down, though, given all the publicity. She'll probably make money through all this PR somehow.

If you could get her out, you'd have to do the old rejected-credit-card-trick (call your credit card in advance and put a "hold" on it) or the "I'll be right back" trick, and never come back. The latter is deliciously simple. The former is more fun because you could watch her squirming reaction as you asked her to "cover this one" and you'd "reimburse [her] later," or "make up for it on [your] next date."

Most higher end restaurants have procedures in place to keep people from walking out. You have to be real slick to pull it off... which is why I nominate myself for the job. [Image: banana.gif]

The restaurant should be in a location you don't typically frequent. Volunteer false personal information (name, age, line of work, etc.) to your date in case she turns you in - that means a google voice number / pre-paid cell phone. You can drop a fake credit card (you don't want your real name out there) or simply walk out.

"Well this has been just lovely, hang on I'm going to run to the little boy's room real quick." -- Or whatever line best suits you.

Tell the guy at the door on the way out that something came up at the firm and your wife is handling the bill *nod over to her* -- If she's looking she'll think you planned something. Smile and walk out. Of course you did... your buddy is secretly recording her as leaves, furious.

Success!

Please, man, you gotta do this and then do a blockedurl-esque verification thread about it.

Bitch is begging for some serious bank-breaking retribution. It would be great if it was an especially expensive meal with vintage wines and everything. But knowing the white-knighting that must go on at fancy restaurants, I wouldn't be that surprised if they let the "cute girl" off the hook and put out an APB out on your-ass.

This must happen. To quote Cypress Hill: "Jack me and I'll jack you back" (in "What Go Around Come Around, Kid")

I hate to defend Feminists, but they are not the ones who partake in the make the man pay for dinners scam, or at least the real ones don't. They are so ingrained in their ideology that they will split their part because they are "empowered" and because they don't want to be associated with the typical girl golddigger stereotype. I don't think the feminists who run blogs that bash you are the ones who demand expensive dinners that the man pays, it's the women who use feminism when it suits their needs that play men for dinners (IE: probably the commentators on feminist blogs).

I hate to ruin your day, but feminist 'empowerment' isn't about them willingly accepting an equal share of the responsibilities that men do.

Feminist 'empowerment' is about them having all their whims catered for.

Whether those whims are irrational or selfish, it doesn't matter, there are always men to underwrite them.

Yeah, she's a bitch, but it is really the poor chumps' fault for buying expensive dinner to a complete stranger. Some guys are just ridiculous - one example for all - I was at a club in Scottsdale, AZ with my GF and a few friends, I sent my GF to buy us drink at the bar - when she was in the line some guy offered to buy her a drink and he added "you don't even have to talk to me". She said she really cant talk as she has to go back to me, he insisted, so she only paid for my drink, thanked the guy and came back. I don't understand that at all. And the club was full of hot pussy...
