Can you then use this residency permit to spend the years needed in a European country (Latvia or other) to get citizenship?

No. They grant a temporary residence permit, which gives no more rights to the rest of the EU than a tourist visa or American passport.

One would need to pass a Latvian language test in order to obtain Latvian citizenship.

Also, the value of the property must be no less than 250 thousand Euros. The threshold was increased a couple of years ago.

DaveR, how is Estonia in comparison to Latvia in this aspect (residence, citizenship) ?

Second, how are Latvian girls in comparison to Estonian girls in terms of looks ? Heard Latvian girls in Riga are ones of the best, if not the best !?

There are no simple residency programmes in Estonia or Lithuania these days. However, if you have income of 50k+ Euros that you can direct through a local company, it shouldn't be a problem to establish a company, assign yourself as its director and live almost anywhere in the EU. I know for sure that it can be done in Estonia, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, France and Spain.

In most countries you'll need to speak the national language before applying for citizenship. Both the UK and Ireland allow applications for citizenship after five years of residence, reduced to three years if married to a British/Irish citizen.

Now for the women:

Latvians are ugly in comparison to the others who surround them. The country has two nationalities - about 30% Russian and 70% Latvian, although in Riga the Russians make for a slight majority.

Estonians are busty blonde vikings with very attractive figures when in shape. However, there is a growing obesity problem in that country. Faces can be hit-or-miss, which, combined with the obesity problem, causes a strange phenomenon: many 9s but few 7s and 8s.

I find Lithuanians the most attractive overall, even more so than Russians, but you may be disappointed if you have big-ass fetish as many Americans do. Russians are also lacking in that area. It's a European thing - butt implants would be considered absurd here. We're all about the hips.

Yeah, there has definitely been some westernisation... I was there about three years ago and noticed a lot more jeans and sneakers than in Moscow, SPB or Kiev.

Latvians banned the use of Russian in universities at some stage, so most of the Russian school graduates started to study in other EU countries once they got the chance in 2004. Who would want to study in Latvian?

London is full of Russian girls from Latvia too.

There may be some of them left in Daugavpils because that city is almost entirely Russian.

Browser just curious if you saw anything about that real estate costs there while you were searching. Thanks.

Also this other recent thread discusses similar questions. More general. http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-48423-...pid1047918

Yes, as of March 2015, the cost for one of these applicable residences starts at 250,000 Euros.

DaveR, are Latvian girls even uglier than Finnish (in Helsinki) or Dutch (in Amsterdam and Friesland) girls ? I mean to find 9s Latvian girls in Riga it's like to find needle in a haystack ?

Concerning Russian slight majority in Riga, I think you are wrong, look at this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riga
"According to the 2011 census data, ethnic Latvians made up 49.33% of the population of Riga, with the percentage of ethnic Russians at 37.21%, Belarusians at 3.88%, Ukrainians at 3.45%, Poles at 1.85%, Lithuanians at 0.83% and other ethnicities at 3.46%." (wikipedia).

When you say Lithuanians, do you mean Lithuanians themselves ? There are lots of Jews and Poles there, who could be mistaken for Lithuanians.

I would rate Finnish girls above the Latvians. I'm not sure about the Dutch because I haven't been since my childhood. I'm not interested in the country or its oversized women.

The census data is very politicised and therefore not too useful. They consider everyone born in Latvia since 1991 to be Latvian. Using more reliable indicators like language spoken at home, election results (mayor is Russian), etc. shows that Riga is majority Russian.

I know there are Poles in Vilnius, but they've been there for hundreds of years so probably not discernible by looks. I definitely couldn't pick them. All of the Poles speak Lithuanian too. Either way, both the Russian and non-Russian population in that city is very attractive.
There are not many Jews in Vilnius today. They were deported or sent to the concentration camps during the war.

I'm in Vilnius now. I would concur that the average Lithuanian quality is a bit higher than Russian or Estonian. Both way hotter than Finnish. Although the Helsinki high end is remarkably pretty, they're more rare to find than the pink hair fatties.

That said after 3 days, Lithuanian girls are starting to all look like clones; very long brown hair, long thigh gap legs, pretty model looking faces. Dress code of tight blue jeans & sneakers standard. Quality problem to have!
