I just love how he's saying, like it's a big deal, that a 28 year old girl is as mature as a 30 year old, nevermind the fact that for all the flack we get for 'not manning up', women are at least just as bad as we are when given that avenue to go down. Go to any club on any night in any city and 99% of the time the drunkest, most belligerent person is a woman.

Is she actually fat? Hard to tell, but she definitely has a big ol' "fat girl" face. She looks strangely like your typical fat Hispanic chick in LA, but paler.

This article makes me wonder about another tack for fighting fatties... In polite company with fatties, just say you have a preference for thin women. Use the same matter of fact tone you'd use for saying you like brunettes or artsy chicks. I.e., don't imply fat girls are worse, just express it as your own little personality quirk. Subtle does it. And don't say, "fit," "healthy" or any other euphemism. "Slim" is good, but "thin" is a little edgier .

It's funny, in a liberal world, where an individual's choices are sacrosanct, you will get less criticism for having some 'irrational' preference instead of a reasoned one. Liking thin chicks as some weird quirk is more palatable than seeing fat girls as objectively ugly, lazy and ill.

I don't see why everyone thinks the girl is fat. It's hard to tell from the few photos on the website, but from what I can tell, she looks pretty good.

Of course, I should point out that I live in one of the fattest areas of America, and in a majority-black area, so I guess my perceptions are skewed. Around here, a girl like that would be pretty high up on the totem pole of attractiveness.

The fact that everyone is crucifying Matt for speaking not only his opinion, but an OBJECTIVE fact (over-weight people are not as attractive as fit, healthy people) is part of the reason we have an obesity epidemic in the first place. This is enabling on a massive scale. "Quiet, you can't say that."

I, for one, am glad he spoke up. Little acts like this--refusing to accept someone who doesn't have the self-discipline to care for her physique--are what we need to fight this growing problem. What incentive do we have to eat healthier and exercise if there's a line of people online ready to comment about how "pretty" and "classy" we are, despite being 30+ pounds over our ideal range?

It's okay to be critical, people. Honest, polite criticism is what helps us improve. Life isn't everyone-gets-a-trophy little league.

Yes, she does seem more "mature." Unfortunately, "mature" is not a compliment to a woman--for a reason. Go around telling attractive girls they're "mature" and see where that gets you.

The problem is we can't see her from the waist-down. Her arms don't appear to be huge, but she looks like she could be a little thick in the middle. I'm curious if she's thick, or SLOPPY.

All of this drama on the Date Lab because the guy is not into the girl because it's not his type. Many of these girls are posting side by side with a Large portion of cookie ice cream.
She lost him when she came up with two subjects:
1. Shoes and Purses: Don't expect that a straight man interests are around this. If it is, he is not straight and you are taking a fake gay home. Or a beta pretending to be interest to earn sex later. I learnt this lesson from my very best friend, when I was talking about to buy Melissas, tons of it, yadda yadda and the say seriously: Mrs. C, I'M NOT YOUR GAY FRIEND!
2. Mommy and Granny's desperation: It's not only mommy and granny's desperation, it's her desperation also. She probably got sad of being alone in a wedding and the mommy and gradma are just a background to try to discover which kind of commitment this guy are looking for. Wedding and LTR conversations should be banned from 1st dates.
