It is rather interesting to see how subjects pertaining to race, and racism, affects the "brotherhood" in this forum. What's even more amusing is how simple it is to conjure up that which we pretend to suppress with all our might.
You know Pusscrook, the reason why threads like this make me seethe with anger is that they contain a lot of insults directed towards white men and women. Guess what, I am a white man. It feels like these insults are directed at me and who I am and that doesn't make me feel very happy. In fact, it makes me extremely angry. The kind of anger that would usually be directed outwards in the form of punching someone in the face.
Seriously, you say these threads affect the "brotherhood" of this forum, but they only affect the brotherhood because they mostly consist of black men sending insults towards white men.
So far they have been:
White men in America are racist.
White men are fools.
White men can't sexually satisfy women.
White men are oppressors.
I don't like reading that shit and in fact it makes me very angry to read those insults. If this race stuff continues at the same rate it's at, I might as well stop coming to this site. I know I don't add much to the discussions here, but I am 100% certain there are other white guys who go to this forum that are angered by these insults being flung at their own race. I would make a bet if this race stuff continues and more insults are flung at white people, Roosh might take a hit in readership. This most certainly means a loss in the cash flow for Roosh.
I understand what you are saying, but you do understand that "insults/disparaging remarks" are hurled directly or indirectly, at every group, in some form or fashion, in this forum. If an Asian male with thin skin entered into this forum as a newbie he might want to commit suicide after reading hundreds of posts about Asians. An overweight male might just gnaw his arm off if he read some of the disparaging remarks we post in here about people who are overweight. God forbid , someone with an Indian background read some of our disparaging remarks, he may denounce his heritage and start killing all sacred cattle in a frenzy. One would think that a person should be up in arms about not only things said about race and race relations, but a whole host of other things that could be construed as highly offensive. The forum wouldn't exist based upon such a paradigm. Did you feel the same way when we lambasted the "smelly, noisy, cheap, Indian"? Did you feel the same way when we lambasted "black males who pull their pants down to the bottom of their calf muscle" ? Are you offended that some of us in here think "all women are whores"? That would mean your mother is a whore, but you understand that the person couldn't possibly be talking about you , whom we know, or your mother for that matter. Most , if not all of us, understand the central point of the forum, is getting a lot of pussy. Anything else that is discussed, is life, explained in views and opinions as that person knows it to be.I could go on and on, but you see, there are many things that may not be offensive to you , and therefore, it gets a pass. I guess my point is, we all have different backgrounds, and one should expect certain things to be stated based on experience, life style, environment, and you guessed it , what you perceive best represents the person that you are. Whether you hold steadfast to these views in secret, or you choose to air them in a public forum, it is what it is. I could be wrong, but I don't think the forum was meant to be politically correct, one that caters to one view or another, or even one which validates a point of view on any given subject. I suspect that if one has a high level of sensitivity to a particular thread, it would be prudent to skip over the thread and remain non-responsive. Chalk it up as water cooler talk that has been going on for centuries. I think it would be extreme to state that membership would drop because of {one} point of view on ... {one} subject. On the contrary, I think that is what keeps the forum alive. Go have a drink, get your balls drained , and who knows, by the time you come back , you may read something positive about race relations. So goes the forum.
