I bought BANG a month or 2 ago and read through it once. I've tried applying some of the stuff, and keep a brief outline of major points as suggested in my cell phone. Along with that, and reading countless online articles and information about the same topic I have been able to identify some of the biggest problems in my game and in my demeanor in general, and have started working to correct them.

Anyway, I'm coming off summer vacation and going back to college (3rd year) in a few days. I attend a certain north eastern school with a pretty solid reputation and incredibly upper class white-majority student body, myself included. It seems like the BANG principles, and PUA principles in general, are good basic outlines for all pickup, but I have to conclude (through thought and experience) that college requires a slightly tweaked pickup approach, as its a pretty unique setting. In addition, my school has a very high percentage of nerds, and very few kids who you would consider bonafide "cool kids". Most besides football team etc are follower betas. Smart girls are generally not that cute, so the hot girls here are fairly high-valued. I'm trying to figure out how to really game this system. Assuming many of you guys have experienced/are experiencing college, what advice can you give? A general philosophy to go in with? Specifics if possible? Unfortunately it isnt really centered around phone numbers and dating as much as facebook/text messages and house parties. I will be living in a house with 20 other dudes, wide array of styles and confidence. How do i set myself apart among this group?

If most guys are follower betas, set yourself apart by brazenly walking up to any and all women you desire and act confident and let them know you're the big swinging dick around these parts, and they should be lucky you even took the time to bother speaking with them. Then give them the "let's go" and take em on back. You set yourself apart from other guys via your confidence and your personality.

Every guy will require a tweaked approach based on his situation, and no one is going to know that better than you.

That means you will have to do quite a few approaches from the foundation of knowledge you have learned until you use a game that is optimized for you. Unfortunately there is no shortcut to this step. If you are new to the game, a few dozen approaches are in order just to get your feet wet. And then come back and share specific problems and we go from there.
