I hate winter...

I'm half Irish, half Scandinavian, half polar bear so yeah, winter and me get along, I'd say for you go to social areas, people tend to be more open in winter because most people share a general dislike of winter, so its common ground.

Lack of sunlight is the biggest winter-problem for me. Its only mid-november and I feel like its already getting to me. I also feel like staying at home all the time and have a hard time motivating myself to go out, hit the gym and stay active. I like Xmas, snow and skiing, but I hate the 5-7 hours of daylight, the grey clouds and the lack of sunlight.

During winter, i'm very weak, anti-social and get easilly cold. I feel very demotivated to try anything and i sleep for long hours....plus i get sick all the time and i always start my year very badly with anxiousness about nothing significant. I also feel very demotivated to hit the gym. Basically, i waste 4 months of my life every year doing nothing but sitting warm in my bed.

Winter just sucks for me even though my country does not have the coldest winds.

How do you guys go through winter?

I'm the same way. In my line of work, I work 70+ hours a week those months, so winter flies by. My pockets are loaded with money just in time for the spring and summer months.
