Anyone have any suggestion for preventing or reducing the amount of razor irritation(razor burn and razor bumps) from shaving?

Aside form getting laser hair removal, try the dermalogica product, they have a great line for men with this specific condition. Now if you have cash galore, laser it off

Maybe about once a week I'll exfoliate my face with the baking soda.

speakeasy,

Do you mix the baking soda before you put it on your face? How long do you leave it on for? Thx

Vitamin C serum, Vitamin B5 and hydraulic acid serum, emu oil.
I've been using that in 10% concentration.

Hey Mike, I'm looking into emu oil after seeing you write about it on another thread, in relation to men's hair loss.

Have you seen visible hair regrowth, thickness, fullness, etc.? I am 27 and my hair line is just now starting to recede. I'd like to nip it in the bud, I'm currently taking saw palmetto extract.

How are you using the emu oil, in shampoo, do you apply it directly to the scalp, how much, and how often, and for how long do you do this?

Any advice would be great,

Thanks.

Along with folligen (sold as "Hair Sgnals"), I use emu oil after showing.

The folligen stings. AT first, start with every 3 days, to see how your scalp handles it.

Emu oil can be used daily.

My routine consists of this:

A.M. :a wash with a mild cleanser with luke warm water. Hot water will dry you out as it depletes you of moisture.

A.M: sun screen , with a ton of zinc oxide ,coupled with a hydrating toner spray (after applying the sunscreen) that lasts thru-out the day . I sometimes spritz the face several times a day depending on how starved your face is of hydration.

Early P.M. : wash with a mild cleanser to remove oils, dirt, and pollution. hydrate the face with toner again.

Late P.M.: add moisturizer..... skin regenerates during the process of sleep, so it seems it's the best time to aid in collagen production.

Twice a week: exfoliate with mild exfoliant that have rounded granules . Hydrate after exfoliation.

Once a week: use deep cleansing clay mask to help with any impurities. Hydrate after mask removal as masks usually disrupts "ph" balance.

I figure at 60 ,my wife who would be at least 20-25 years younger, wouldn't mind being seen with me in public.

Any recommendations for shampoo & conditioner? I currently use Dove, but I'm looking to get into something a bit more natural/organic.

I went to Whole Foods Saturday to try and find a facial mask to help my skin. I have real oily, sensitive skin that always gets red and those masks have always helped me. Some gay guy working there recommended this shit. You mix a tiny bit up with water or apple cider and leave it on for about 20 minutes. I thought I mixed it up wrong because it gets very, very dry and hard after 10 minutes. Felt like my face was going to crack open. I didn't do any research but I asked my mom and she said this is a real popular one with girls.

I haven't tried this product myself, but I've heard amazing things about Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque. On the precipice of ordering this myself, actually.

Get the face mask that I posted up. I have the same problem and this shit definetly helps with the tomato face.

Mvolt - do u think there's a huge difference between all the masks? I didn't research at all. Just walked into whole foods and asked someone.

From what I understand, masks are very trial-and-error, as with most other cleansing products. You'll have to experiment to see which one fits your particular skin the best.

With the Aztec and Queen Helene, it's hard to gauge which one comes out on top. Plenty of people love/hate both. But from reading around, it sounds like Aztec comes out on top in comparison to Queen Helene. But who knows, Queen Helene might be better for you than the Aztec.
