Between 10 and 11, promoters get groups of girls into the club to drink for free..either in a back area or they give them a table before the guys who buy the table take it. It stacks the ratios and makes the club look really good before the ratios get jacked. Usually the group of girls move on to another club before 1am unless you can hook them. a lot of the girls get so wasted they just end up going back to their rooms with their girlfriends. at least from what I've experienced. There is only a limited window of time, even in vegas.

Ha! Most of these girls are either from LA or UNLV. Occasionally you have some SF girls on the comped bottles.

The economics of it is as follows- 6 girls to 1 comped bottle. They pay tax+tip on the bottle which works out to be about 100 buxs. 6 girls= 3 shots/per girl.

Baller dudes want to get at these girls, so they ship over bottles. My homegirl (really knows how to work the promoters) had a table w/her 2 friends (initially 1 free bottle) and 16 more girls joined that my homegirl pulled off the dance floor(randoms). They had 8 bottles of champagne (from nearby tables), 1 comped and 1 free bottle (club), 4 bottles of tequila, 3 bottles of vodka. By the end of the night, the table had 30 girls rotating in and out. A true spectacle. Count it in real terms, the club made 15 bottles off these girls at 500 markup= 7,500 plus tax and tip.

Pussy is recession-proof.

Smartest way to do vegas....Go during the week and smash all the locals. Cost-effective, efficient, and pussy-effective. Friday and Saturday and big weekends is amateur-hour.

Afrojack, Aviici, PVD, Deadmau5 all come to Vegas during the mid-week as well. Thats MAYBE the only time I would go to Vegas for a big act.

^^^Why am I the only one who is saying this? The hype is pure BS. If I truly wanted to see Aviici spin, I would go to a giant concert stadium, not a club. I go to the club purely for sex and to hang w/the boys. Standing in fat lines and having to drop money to bouncers isn't a pre-requisite for a good night.

+1000 I'm with you DVY In fact I pretty much only go to Vegas during the Mon-Friday period now.

Just spent 5 days there from Sunday to Friday with my Dad and brother and rooms are sooo much cheaper during that time period. U can still access the local scene + selected conference girls too, along with the summer vacationers. I actually like Vegas more when it's a little bit quieter (but still somewhat busy) and all the Saturday-Sunday crowd are gone (like the Rehab crew, that party is so bad IMHO now, thousands of shirtless buff dudes drinking $12 Coors Lights or $20 margaritas and like 20% skanky hoes - but I'm old so I guess I just don't fit in anyway). During the week u can get into most of the clubs too for like $20-30 cover (XS was good on a Tuesday actually, very little wait in line at midnight, club was packed but probably 60-70% guys).

I like to gamble too and it's good to have the craps tables almost to yourself early in the day and just chill by the pool with the tourist crowd at the hotels & then go out...or day game on the street (albeit in 105 degree weather).

I used to blow myself up in Vegas early but now take it a bit more chill and spread out the drinking and gambling. So much to do there really if you have the time.

Some interesting tips here. Just got back over Memorial Day Weekend and was expecting a shit-show, but maybe because I was expecting it to be so bad, I was pleasantly surprised at Hakkasan and Light, although the latter was somewhat disappointing. I still like XS the best and find it easy to get there when it opens, pay the semi-ridiculous entrance fee and then get a re-entry stamp and come back at a decent time after drinking elsewhere.

Strangely enough, my favorite move in Vegas has more to do with gambling than gaming chicks. You're not going to make any friends with the crew doing this, but it isn't illegal: Wait until the point comes out at a craps table and then proceed to bet $100 on Field, place a $75 bet on 5, and place $90 on 6 and 8 each. You have $355 at risk and you've covered every number on the next roll except for the 7, which unfortunately is the most common number.

Whatever you do, you take down all of your bets after the next roll. Best case scenario, the shooter hits a 12 which puts you $300 ahead if it pays triple at that table. The next best scenario is hitting a 2 which gets $200. After that, 3,4,9,10 and 11 are even money bet of $100 on your field. If you hit a 5, 6 or 8, the payout will be $105, which will even out the loss on the field bet with $5 in your pocket. Of course, if shooter sevens out, you lose the entire $355 wagered.

My friends and I split the $355 three ways to minimize absolute risk of ruin and the first person that pulls from the club gets the winnings. Extra hilarious when the score is only $5 and we are still trying to win "hot dog money" while going after girls. I say "hot dog" money because $5 gets you absolutely nothing in a club there... what are Fiji waters, like $9 now? Surprisingly, we've only hit the 7 once out of 15-20 times we've tried this... don't want to fall into the gambler's fallacy, but I sincerely hope I'm not "due" for a couple of seven outs.

How's Hakkasan? My buddy runs the place but they opened while I've been away.

Hakkasan's layout was dark and luxurious and the crew they had working that night was really fun. Never saw so many bussers and bouncers singing along to ODB and 2Pac at a club before. Great energy from the staff which I feel helped keep everyone in a fun/party mode.

Unfortunately, it is hard as fuck to get around the place. If you think that Marquee has too many stairs, you are going to be in for an unpleasant surprise here. Can't imagine what girls have to go through as I was wearing comfortable shoes and sober and I still almost ate it on the steps a few times. Extreme darkness of the place only makes things that much harder.

From the pictures at least, it looks like the layout is a massive dance area and maybe small pockets of bar areas? Is it conducive for meeting people or is more about the tables and the DJs? where's the best place to approach girls here?

OK, to dispell the myth that it'll be super expensive or hard to plan, this is what I'm doing at the end of the month and the real costs of everything. I basically decided to go two days ago and started canvassing around and making decisions. I'm going with my bro, trying to see who else is in town..but these prices are for general admission tickets with all service fees included..no bottles...not that I'm against bottles, but its a small group right now i'm going with. Usually 3-4 drinks at night...because I'll be doing shots in the room before going out, etc. Also have a convention that's related to my industry I might see if any of the medical reps I know are going to be there and go from there..basically get into the exhibitor halls and go from there.

Dates: 6/27 (Thursday) - 7/1 (Monday)
Flight: $160 RT from LA to Vegas on Southwest
Hotel: Treasure Island. $426 total, $92 a night via Travelocity. (split between two people)

Thursday night: Doing a "Club" Crawl. Paid $40 from groupon.
I've done these in the past, the girls are pretty easy and if you're in a small group its usually better than hitting a club. Places are usually lame but you can ditch them anytime, there are cheap drink specials and people in the groups are usually people who don't know their way around vegas at all or are easily impressed by shiny objects. They are best on the day you get to vegas because generally you're a little tired from travelling and they kind of do everything for you. This one goes to crappy bars in the hotel I'm staying at first (going to try to go for a quick bang since its just a simple elevator ride upstairs+heavy drinking going on) then to venetian to another bar and then a few clubs which I could honestly care less about.

Friday day: Encore Beach Club- Sports Illustrated Swimsuit event. $36
Friday night: Hakkasan- Bob Sinclar $41

Saturday day: Hangout at the TI pool. Sleep. might do EBC for Steve Angello but i might be burned out if I do.
Saturday night: Doing another club crawl. I've done this one before...I bought a voucher on Travelzoo late last year and it was only $40, so its already paid for. This one starts at the Deuce bar at Aria, then Haze, then 1OAK then some other spot.

Sunday day: Wet Republic. Steve Aoki. $46.
Sunday night: not sure yet. Either XS Nightswim or Lavo. XS is $34 and Lavo is prob $20 General admission.

I know the captain is going the same weekend so I'll leave him some of the research I've done. I may change depending on what LIGHT dayclub/nightclub is doing, their schedule isn't up yet.

Thursday night:
Tommy Trash at Hakkasan Las Vegas HAKKASAN LAS VEGAS $35
Wiz Khalifa at TAO Nightclub $35

Friday
Recess Fridays features Sports Illustrated Summer of Swim 2013 with Sultan & Ned Shepard $36
Bob Sinclar at Hakkasan Las Vegas $46
Steve Angello at XS Las Vegas $41

Saturday-

Sunday

Madeon at XS Sunday Nightswim XS THE NIGHTCLUB AT ENCORE $36
