Where Have All The OG and New PUA Gone?

This forum used to pop off years ago but it is quite dead now. I was wondering where all the members have gone. Is there a new forum that I don't know about that everybody is using?

Where Have All The OG and New PUA Gone?

SoSauve seems to be the only active forum right now.

Most of the old guard have moved on from the field. Todd V is still going strong on Youtube though. The guy looks like he's 50 now. Brutal.

Lots of content from new guys to the field on Youtube.

Unfortunately being a PUA does not seem to move most men off the life path of marriage and child rearing. Most of the older guys moved on.

It's a bit of a dying art. I think the culture is changing. The sexual degeneracy of the late 2000s and early 2010s has transitioned in the West to a new type of secular puritanism. Women aren't putting out anymore not because of any lingering religious/cultural traditions, but rather because it would go against woke/feminist principles. Most of the younger generation is too distracted by TikTok to think about dating.

The dating market in the west has moved more towards a "winner take all" system whereby a larger percentage of men are totally locked out of the dating market. Women's standards have gotten so ridiculously high that they've voluntarily locked themselves out of the dating market by refusing to date a normal human male, instead holding out for their super chad movie star.

Third world is still great though.

You summed it up perfectly. This secular puritanism is driving men crazy and an increasing number of men are becoming "passport bros" and exploring their options abroad. It seems like the U.S. or west in general is 10-15 years behind Japan when it comes to cultural norms specifically sexual intimacy. I hate what has happened. Like you said, late 2000s and early 2010 were the peak years. I think it really started going downhill around 2016 and then 2020 COVID was the nail in the coffin.

Where Have All The OG and New PUA Gone?

Good question.

Membership was continually turning over.  Young newbies came to get girlfriends, and then left.  The passport bros got tired of being broke teaching English in third world countries.  Older men settle down after they satisfy their taste for variety and get tired of the dating grind.

New members stopped coming when Roosh got cancelled and then quit.  In retrospect, it was amazing how was able to have such a large digital footprint while being a broke travel bum working out of coffee shops in third world industrial shitholes.  Roosh exploited a transitory vulnerability in the evolution of social media.  He used hate-bait trolling for publicity on his web pages, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc.  This generated a lot of traffic and Google AdSense money.  It is amazing that they tolerated him for so long.  It did not particularly bother him when he got barred from England and Australia.  But getting banned by Paypal and having some books removed from Amazon hurt.  Then Google demonetized his ads.  This all cut his income by 80%.  He was also banned from Youtube and kept getting suspended from Facebook.

Roosh was a free rider on these sites (and in coffee shops and bar meetups).  Some of his books have rapey passages.  Imagine Amazon or Paypal getting sued if a criminal claims to have learned how to victimize from those books?  Roosh reveled in his notoriety and doubled down until he had painted himself into a corner.  When it was no longer profitable or pleasant, Roosh found Jesus and quit.

Also, the whole PUA, MGTOW, MRA, and "Red Pill" spaces became saturated.  There are not many new ideas.
