http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-3918.html

Short version:
Ease of slaying the women: Easier than Argentina, harder than Brazil. One-night stands are possible but good Spanish is highly recommended since not many people speak English. The Chilean accent is nasty so you may find them hard to understand.
Nightlife spots: Bars are all sit-down. Go to clubs in Bellavista, Las Condes, and Vitacura.
Etc: I hope you like hot dogs and mayonaisse. Also, the city is definitely getting more expensive. The love motel was 22 luka ($45) on a Friday night last July. Fucking ripoff.

For me Chile was a lot easier to bang girls than Brazil so far. i banged two beautiful girls in Chile. In Brazil i've been going out like crazy for the last two weeks but no bang so far.

How's your Spanish? Chile's easier for me too but I'm fluent in Chilean Spanish and only conversational (if that) in Portuguese. Brazilians are a lot more likely to speak English than Chileans are. Somebody who can't understand the Chilean accent is going to have a lot rougher time in Santiago than in Rio due to the language barrier.

I didn't find Santiago all that difficult. I stayed in Los Condes as well. I'm fluent in Spanish but like was said, Chilean Spanish is a different animal. Chile overall is way more conservative than Brazil or Colombia but speaking Spanish and going after what you want while still being polite worked for me. I was never lacking for company but it still took a bit before panties dropped.

Also, what's your take on Uruguay? I've spent some time in Argentina and wasn't impressed by Uruguay at all. It seemed like a nice place to retire, but insular and conservative (the same way you described colombia), not a place for a short term visitor to bang hot women.

Its been a long time since I lived there, so I can't help you on the latest hot spots. But, I've got to believe that the best areas are still Vitacura, Los Condes, Bellavista and Providencia. What I can tell you is that I found the women to be very open and friendly - much easier than the Argentines. Plenty of hot women to be found and the tourist traffic is not as heavy as places like BsAs and Rio. I like Chile and I like the women.....and they return the favor. Uruguay takes a little more work, but I like the place as well. Montevideo is no BsAs but there are cool areas and good bars if you take the time to discover the place. Agree - no place for a short-term visitor but if one made an investment of time, I could easily see one having a very good time there. Great beaches, not only toward Punta, but also back toward Colonia and Argentina. As far as women go - well, it ain't Moldova, but you could certainly find a hot woman to spend the winter with.

Neil, you are an interesting dude. I appreciate your brutal honesty. You might be the SA/poon/contrarian. You kill it in Ecuador and Chile, places that many poster's denigrate - and struggle in Colombia and Brasil, places that the masses praise. I think that you might be onto something. How safe is it?, am I likely to get mugged/kidnapped?

Floripa is about as safe as brazil gets from places I went. Also seemed to be the most 1st world part of brazil I went to. In most cities in Brazil, even tiny ones, you see all the houses with electric wire or razor wire around the houses. All the houses in Floripa have nice open, unsecured yards. It is a very nice place. I definitely would live there though if I could choose anywhere to live in Brazil. Then again when I'm choosing places to go, safety is never really anything that helps me make my decisions, its more the women, nightlife, scenery, etc.

Haha. how about no lays in Thailand but 12 lays in cambodia (including a thai)

The reason im not killing it in Brazil is that i have great coffee date/couchsurfer game but no working phone at the moment. Here in rio i have phone numbers of 18 hot couchsurfer girls but no phone to call them. We all know how flakey those south american girls are and a working phone to constantly call and text is part of my game.

Yesterday i had a date set through facebook at 2pm and the girl send me a mail thats she cant meet at 2 but later. At the same moment i have a girl who wants to meet me at 3pm at the beach but i dont know about the first one. result : i didnt see both of them. i prefered to see the first one because i met her in bolivia while traveling and she s a prospect for a lay. she send me email at 10 at night saying she was with her mom all day. if i had a phone i would of known it within minutes.

The reason i have no phone is that my touchscreen doesnt work properly anymore since a few days. i went to a local (phone) market and there they said the could replace my touchscreen for 65 dollar which is a lot of money for a traveler like me. There will be no garentees it will work after and i prefer to do it in holland in two months. where i speak the language and i know they wont give me back a half fixed phone.
I bough a new cheap phone but that fucker barely connects to the network and the battery dies after 2 hours. That phone sucked so much that i got messages from girls that were send 7 hours before or some were send by them the past day. i cant game chicks like this.

Only using a public phone sucks balls because after you have no way of connecting by text if something changes or if you can find each other at the arranged place.

Tomorrow im going back to the market with a girl and try to change the phone or repair the other one.

basiscally i feel handicapped with a usuable phone

As the old adage goes, you buy cheap you buy twice [Image: wink.gif] Saying that I heard that consumer goods are way expensive in South America, hence I will be bringing a few things with me, I hope the profit will cover the cost of my flight.

I bought one of those phones in Rio too, claimed to have all the features under the sun but the battery ran dead after an hour which made it totally useless. No luck in the clubs in Rio? Which places are you going?

You are going to Emporio too much. There are better places for you to go, especially on a Saturday night. You can save Emporio for a middle of the week kind of thing.

I really wonder why they push all the gringos to Emporio...

Try Casa De Matriz in Botofogo one night Neil, I think you could have some luck there. 43 countries in less than 3 years seems like it would become a bit of a struggle to even get enthusiastic about the place you're in and what it has to offer?

How many girls have you fucked on this trip Neil?

Hey Deb Auchery... bust out a data sheet on Ukraine for the non language speakers please!!

My pennies worth. I spent 6 weeks travelling Argentina and Brazil. I got a total of 3 bangs. 2 Argentinians and 1 British girl. The only reason I got lucky in Argentina was because I was fresh, and hungry for it. I failed miserably in Brazil. In hindsight it was a miracle that I got any action at all in Argentina because the girls were much harder work. I should point out I have quite high standards and I'm not an approach machine. I mainly rely on my looks and a bit of swag.

Reason I failed in Brazil:
I stayed in a hostel
I hung out with other gringos and went to too many gringo bars
I was a gringo (I think actually being a tourist in Brazil will hurt your game)
I was physically and mentally tired from traveling and didnt have a nice place to chill and re-energise. (I dont know how you do it Neil??.. You have stamina I will give you that)

I think Brazil especially Rio is one of the coolest countries I have ever visited. But the women aspect was disappointing and frustrating for me, but I only have myself to blame.

Lessons I have learnt:
Travel alone. Get your own pad... as nice as £35 a day can afford me. Stay for shorter periods of time so I dont get complacent. And try to curb my drinking. Going out every night is exhausting when it could be spent recharging your batteries.

I'm a machine.

Being going out at least 3 or 4 nights a week for the last 2.5 years. sometimes once a week, sometimes every day.

I drink
I smoke
I'm 34
No exercise
mac Donalds is my second home
No fruits or veggies
Not enough sleep
I travel mostly by bus or train. i once did a 80 hour train including trouble at kazahkstan customs with guys waving AK-47's in my face.

I'm a machine.

Motivation does the trick.

Correction, its 55 now after last night, finally got a bang. i went to a club called Melt. Because i came with some hostel guest they let us in for 25 relais insted of the usual 40 (which is too much for that place) free caiperinhas from 10 to 12pm. I picked up a big boobed black Brazilian girl after 4 other approaches. I went brazillian style on her, kept trying to kiss her. She gave me the cheek turn about 15 times over a one hour period. Finally she gave in, had a good talk with her during all this and played total super confident playa game. I litteraly said things like : if you want a 22year old boy who doesnt know anything about love making, go to the dance floor and find one. If not stay with me. And similar cocky straightfaced stuff like this.
I actually believe now after kissing at least 8 girls that the ones who kiss quickly wont bang and the ones who give you the cheek turn many times but stay put and keep in convo with you will. i have to test this theory a bit more first. More on that later this month.

We went to a motel and had a fully mirrored and luxurious room for about 40 dollars for 12 hours. +spend 12 dollars on taxis. Total budget killer but worth it.

Good question, let me check my spreadsheet.

Mostly in Cambodia, 9 of them. allthough not all were active workers ( a few opportunists) and one in Indonesia.

So 10 in total.

So you started reading about 'game' on the road and put it into practice or just slowly learnt more about picking up girls through trial and error?

Another question; how much, approx, has this whole trip cost you finance wise?

Yes, the first 8 months i was a AFC but starting to learn how to be more social due to hanging out with other travelers. Still i banged 6 girls in that period. After finding out about the book The Game and mystery's teaching i started downloading stuff and reading up on it.
I absolutely ruled Cambodia but soon found out that it didnt work so wel on white chicks.

I would say its 50/50. 50% learned game. 50 % trial and error on my own. And 100% social improvement.

Edit : about 50K in dollars
